Thirty Three. That's a big number.

Postby Hanhan » Tue Apr 17, 2012 9:46 pm

I just did the Math and it seems I have 33kgs to drop before I'm at my goal weight. Gosh that is so overwhelming. I'm not sure I can even get my head around it.

What I can get my head around is little goals, but then I think "yeah sure, I can drop five kgs and that'll be awesome" or "Yeah If I drop 8.5kgs I'll be back under 100. That's great" But it'll always be followed with "But there's still x amount left"

I thought I had the motivation. But do I really have 33kgs worth of motivation? I'm not sure.

Dont worry about the little voice...go for the little goals, they're the ones that matter now.

Remember, when you've lost 5K you only have 27K to lose then 10k...down to 22 to lose.

It sounds so much more positive with the simple addition of the word 'only'

Thanks for the encouragement :)

I try tothink of it this way as i sometimes have that little voice pop in.

If i lose 5 kg i am 5 kg closer to where i want to be, if i dont try i definitely wont lose anything and i will stay the same.

A journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step :)

it can be very scary to even start because of the fear of failure but if u dont start u have already failed, if u do start you have succeeded already!

YOU CAN DO IT!!! :)

What path are you taking to lose weight/change your lifestyle?

As skinnyinside says, don't look at it as I've still got x amount to lose rather look at it as I'm x amount close to my goal weight. And don't forget to reward yourself!

I've got quotes and pictures up all over my desk for that extra motivation...
Small steps... AND... POOF! Weight gone :)

Thanks for the encouragement guys :)
I haven't done well the past few days, damn stupid health problems. But now I'm getting those sorted and finally ditching the fags, bleh. What made me start smoking? I'm on the road to success again.
