Welcome fellow curvy women and men

Last year as you know I started here on the forum weighing 91kg.

Image

in the first quarter of this year i lost 21kg all up. I let myself slip back into old habits because reaching the maintenance goal weight i was scared! and didnt put in place any procedures to keep me on track. Due to my own stupidity and letting myself down i got back up to 81.5kg. I am now down to 76.4kg. my first goal will be 70kg hence why my ticker says that i only have 6kg to go. from there on i dont know what goal weight i want to get to. as long as i feel comfortable going from there then thats what i will do. how will i know what being 65kg is or 60kg is because i cant recall a time i was that weight. my ticker shows my photo of me at 70kg back at the end of 2006 and i am hoping to get back down to that before the end of the year but i am not putting pressure on myself.

I have some great people supporting me and its nice to have people to relate to and that relate to me. As you know i won a celebrity slim pack from the forum competition last week and I plan on starting that as soon as i receive it and KarinAnn and I will be pushing each other the whole way as we will both be doing the same program for the week. I cant afford to go out a buy shake programmes, or products to assist in weightloss so i will continue on from then just eating healthy and exercising. Hopefully CS will give me the kickstart i need and i am thankful for the opportunity to try such a product. I wont know if its for me or not until I try it and see results.

Here is a picture of me taken tonight 76.4kg.

i am wearing size 14's and my roxy jeans are so baggy and i had to dig up a belt from somewhere to keep them up!

Much Love xox

Hi :)

I rang up about my blood tests today.

glucose- good
liver kidney etc- good
hormones- levels are good
cholesterol- good

so i left a message for the dr to do the scripts up for the higher pill dosage and also the metformin. last time i was on metformin back in 2004 i was sick from it. but i am willing to give it another shot. The receptionist just called me back and said that the scripts are ready to be picked up but the dr wants me to do another fasting test 3 days after i start the metformin so that he can keep an eye on how i am going with it. so my plan is tomorrow that i will pick the scripts up start taking the metformin and go in on friday for a fasting test at 9.45am- the late breakfast will kill me! lol. i wont start taking the new pill until i have finished the lot i am on now which will be another week or 2. I am really glad i have some answers and that the dr is being thorough about it all. i am also really glad the other blood tests came back fine as i am a big worry wart! will update on how i go with starting the metformin. :)

Lucky you kate... Wish i was having as much sucess with aunt flow helpers and stuff. Have had nothing but problems after i got the Depro Vera shot to keep the babies away but Aunt Flow hasnt been the same since. Going to the Gyno on the 23rd so fingers and toes crossed all goes well. All costs so much money.

But great to see the test all good! How did you find the lower dose pill i was on it too but it made me spot. When im on the higher dose i dont feel great either.

Your such an inspiration Kate. I love reading about your journey and look forward to hearing more and seeing your progress photos.
I like the pill I'm on now and never have any problems with it. The only thing is that it makes my migraines worse but im willing to put up with it for the other benefits the pill gives me :D

Hey Tummygirl and Tanya

The pill i am on that the moment is mid-range whereas i should be on the higher dose one. I will let you know what I think of it when I have used it for a few months, but hopefully it doesnt take too long to get my hormones in order!

You're right about specialist fees. i whinge when i have to pay a standard GP consultation fee lol.
