I know what you mean! It's even harder doing it by yourself- that's why I'm here hehe. I'm trying to think of a good quote or summary of my WL mentality for my signature...

LOL electrongirl, luckily I don't eat much chocolate otherwise I'd be in trouble!

I've decided to work on 1 good habit every week.

This week (Sunday to Sunday)
21 October, 2007- 28 October

Keep hydrated with water and freshly squeezed juices-- no coffee this week
-- limit green and black tea (1 per day)
-- dilute bottled fruit juices 1/3 juice 2/3 water (1 per day with breakfast)

That's strange... my signature and ticker are only showing on some posts *confused*

Hehe as much as I don't like drama and cattiness, this forum is good for recording progress. I thought it would be just easier to make a little thread and stick to so that I could be 100% focused on my goals without the social aspect. I just didn't count on people bothering to check IP addresses LOL

After talking to the boy, I found out IP addresses are not always unique and can be changed (can you tell I'm not a computer geek) so a number of people can have the same IP address... Kate I'm going to assume you were just putting the statement out there rather than trying to stir up trouble, it's all good hun. Electrongirl,

Tummygirl, Ally and Kate- I know you were just trying to defend your C&C section, (I've been trying to see things from your point of view) and I guess the last thing you needed was a young skinnier girl putting in her 2c. I know everyone's a product of their experiences and obviously we haven't all had the same experiences so we can't judge each other on how we act. It's easier to love than to hate. In regards to this new user, I wasn't trying to fool anyone, I simply wanted to post in peace.

I was thinking about it last night, what's the optimum frame of mind I need to be in to create maximum progress and opportunities for myself. I have to be completely focused on what's important (my own spirit and soul, my goals, uni, my jobs, my friends, family) and less on what isn't (holding grudges, worrying, opinions of people who don't matter).
I have decided to spend extra time in the mornings and evenings on stretches, listening to music, meditation and reflection.

Sounds good golden
I've said it before, and I'll say it again, weight and weightloss is a very touchy and raw issue for a lot of people and it does tend to get people polarized sometimes (me included), so I think your idea to focus on the positives and let small things pass is a great idea and it's what I try to do every day!
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).

I don't really care where advice comes from and I don't care how "skinny" you are....if the advice is good I will take it from anywhere. I would really appreciate you leaving my name out of the mud slinging if you don't mind though...it is getting REALLY old. I like you am here to gain support and motivation and the last thing I want to deal with is immature slanging matches.

I will leave you with all the best wishes on your weight loss journey and hope that you reach your goal.

21 October, 2007

Breakfast-- bowl of Sports Plus cereal with Physical low fat milk, 1/3 cup passionfruit/orange juice 2/3 water

Morning tea-- none

Lunch-- (cafe with a friend) 1/2 medium serving of potato salad, medium serving of greek salad, Nestea peach iced tea (delicious and less than 700kj!)

Afternoon tea-- none

Dinner-- (going to a friend's 20th tonight), I think it's pizza but there are a few of us vegetarians going so there'll definitely be some other options. I figure I'll eat lots of salad if there is any, otherwise a little vegetarian pizza. No nibblies and no soft drink, just water.
