i have 8 kg to lose.

I put it on around christmas after I had got to 59.5kg, under 60!

didnt weigh myself but measured my thighs, waist, bust and arms.

I have been eating really well since new years day. counting my calories and eating more fruits and vegetables.

Cut out coffee/ cola, sugar.

I read that cola has lots of phosphorus, and it leaches calcuim from your bones... leading to osteoperosis

Sugar is a toxin to the body. Natural sugars (fruits ) are ok.

Listen to your body and ask thirsty before hungry. drink 2Lt filtered water.

Eat 2-3 cups of vegetables daily, 2 serves fruit, healthy proteins,

I dont know what my weight was straight after christmas but I measured myself and then measured again 3 days ago since been having healthier diet and going on vibratone. I have LOST 1 inch from my waist and 1 inch from my stomach. My current weigt is 61kg.

I started this thing last year at 63kg..

So down in kg this year compared to last.

Feel healthy and in control. motivated. organised.

the vibration machine is great!!

I measured myself today.

Since new year eating well and vibra toning. I have lost 2 inches off my waist and 1 off my thighs and 1 off my arms and bust stayed the same.

I only weighted myself a few days ago.

Your diet looks healthy too but looks like quite a fair bit of preparation to make those yumm slices of yours.

I am also finding that green tea is great now I have kicked my coffee habit.

I have a old work colleague who has a vibro gym franchise, ive been meaning to go, everyone i have talked to says they are fab!

Do you have one at home?? If so how much was it if you dont mind my asking and do you find it affective for toning??

Well done on the reduction of Cm's, this tells a much better story then the scales! Your getting thinner! :)

i think it is good for toning. ive lost Inches.

But also I have been eating well and controlled cals. its hard to say.

I think it would be good for circulation and lymphatic system. its helped my back to. I could run father the other day after using it for a while and my lunges are easier to do.

I got mine on ebay for about $275, there are places that are much dearer but mine seems fine being the cheaper version.

Thanks for the info, i did wonder about the ebay versions, you know what ppl say about the quality of some thing you can buy on ebay! But i like the idea of doing it at home so much more then doing it somewhere else! I will look into it some more as it is something ive been interested in for a while, and goodness knows i need some toning! LOL

Your plan sounds perfect :)

Scales heading south and losing inches is a testament to your willpower with all the healthy things you're doing and eating.

I'm sure you'll increase your exercise in no time. Starting out with a cruisy 20min walk is the best way I reckon. Early in the morning or late in the afternoon is the most relaxing I think :)

sat

Postby mimosa8 » Sat Jan 12, 2008 7:44 pm

wow a good sat !!

eating well, planned meals and snacks. walked 15 mins today plus vibratone.

weigh in sunday. Filling up on fruit and veg and drinking lots of water and green tea.

I feel like i have found my own secret key.. balanced sugars, minimal cravings.

If i want a chocolate i will have a protein bar but I will make myself *wait* until i get home and really ENJOY it instead of how i used to eat it as soon as i got out of the shop.

Presentation is really important. I made a beautiful snack just before.. blueberries/ strawberries and choc mouse in a small bowel. It was gorgeous!!

Nicer than a chocolate sundae from maccas. And NO guilt with eating anymore.

YAY!!

Tonight will make ? chicken and broccholi, skinny tzeiki, avacado, capsicum and brown rice.

Well done on the walk, thats great!

And finding your own personal secrets is the best isn't it? Protein bars are my 'chocolate' too and lemon tea and exercise are my craving killers. Whatever works though :)
