Thanks yes I cant wait to have that sushi again.

Well its Saturday arvo and last nights 30th went well. I did weigh in this morning and I'm now 67.6kgs so I have 7.6 kgs to shed in less than 12 weeks now..

Last night I had 5 glasses of sav blanc (ooops), I had 3 chicken skewers for dinner (they were fine just marinated in like a terriyaki sauce with some herbs), I had 3 mini meat balls and some strawberrys. I didnt have any cupcakes at all which was the bday boys cake I actually was happy to just have some drinks. Other than that was a fun night out with everyone and today so far I havent exercise but will hop on my exercise bike very soon for about a 45min ride...back to the running tomorrow.

Hope you're all well...ive now got in my head 7.6kgs to lose constantly.

Ok so my Sydney trip is over and I've reached 64.2kgs - my next weigh in is in 2 weeks time so that whatever damage I did in Sydney will be done and dusted! I would love to lose 4.2kgs by Xmas time and I guess thats where my new goal begins :)

hey MM, sounds like you did really well at the party! Well done! and nice work avoiding the cupcakes, i LOVE cupcakes :twisted: they're so evil though! lol.

That's awesome about your friend, it gives me hope :lol: Even though it's only 11 weeks now haha, i think i will try and get back into it on monday and get my butt moving! It's good for stress too, so i DEFINATELY think i should get into it :lol:

As to your alcohol question... yep it *really* doesnt help lol. how often do you drink?

I don't think 1200 is enough for you, you work waaayyy to hard for that to be enough, girl! Try eating your exercise calories (or at least half of them) back for a couple of weeks and I guarantee you that you will drop good numbers! :D Trust me, been there, done that!

Hey Matchbox,
Yes we have to just DO IT now or time just seems to be dragging on and on...just wanna reach that goal once and for all!!
I drink once a week like have a combination of a few wines and then some vodka drinks with tonic water or soda water with a touch of flavoured juices so keeping the sugar down.

I think you may right 1200 I can manage but overall I think it just may not be enough with the exercise I put myself through.. I'll up them a bit and hopefully will see a difference in my next weigh in, thank you!!

Today in Melb has been raining and cold and WINDY!! I've had a good day so far, 40mins on the Wii Fit and before dinner I'm going to do some jumping around the lounge area, aerobic style exercises and get the heart pumping for another 30mins or so. In the meantime though I have run off the supermarket and buy the ingredient to bake a rich chocolate cake with buttercream frosting in the middle and a chocolate ganache and curls on top................. hahah its not for me though, its for a co-worker of mine thats leaving this week and I wanted to bake her a nice cake cause shes awesome ;) I will NOT lick my fingers along the way hahah and I hope everyone in my team tomorrow enjoys it.

I shall keep in touch during the week on my progress.

Oh and here it is ladies and gentlemen....took me 3 hours!!

Its a 2 layer chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream in between the layers, topped with chocolate ganache, chocolate swirls on top and other choccie marble bits on top.

OMG YUM... to be honest that looks like it's worth being fat for!!! haha :) did you really not even lick ur fingers? WOW!

Also, re your cals, would you consider doing maybe 1200 one day, 1600 the next and alternating? I've heard that's a good idea so your body doesn't adapt, especially when you're exercising so much. Just an idea xxox

Heheh thanks chickies I love cooking and baking etc etc. The cake turned our fantastic!! its in the fridge now at work, we're gonna cut it up this afternoon. As I was making it my whole house smelt like a chocolate factory...infact i got a bit sick of it to be honest! I didnt lick my fingers but I had 2 small pieces of 70% dark chocolate in the process.

I will up my cals and I may alternate like you mentioned, I will try anything and everything and thats the only way to learn how your body works best.

lol Matchbox everyone made that comment today at work, thats a laugh :)

I ended up having a small piece and it was great...i just had to try it! I ran my backside off 9kms in 49mins on the treddy when I got home...feeling much much better now.

Looking to wake up and do another 9kms tomorrow morning...camon miss minx!!!!

I'm off to watch farmer wants a wife ;)

Hey Miss Jo,

I can email you the recipe etc but all in all I just put it together, had a design in my mind and did it. I googled
1. moist chocolate cake recipe, made two layers in two pans
2. looked up vanilla buttercream recipe to put in between the two cake layers
3. looked up chocolate ganache to cover the entire cake
4. then melted dark choc with white choc over some glad bake paper and swirled it all around and put it in the fridge to set, then break them up to decorate the cake like i did
5. chocolate curls are made with milk choc as it has a melting content compared to dark so its easier for you to make them using a potato peeler when the chocolate has come down to room temperature.

If you still want the recipe Iet me know but thats what i basically did.
