haven't been to the gym since, been busy with uni/life and feeling unwell, however my boyfriend and i took his nephews to the park on sat to play some footy... the littlest one just wanted to hold my hand and make me run everywhere (especially in circles), so i got a gooood workout! my legs are STILL sore  super busy with uni work at the moment, 2 assignments and a midsem on monday, as well as a million other things i have to do. will just be lurking a little until its all over i think! xx

we got some new scales the other day and to my horror they weighed me heavier than my old ones! So i started a few days ago at 57.55kg :( weighed this morning and am now 56.95kg (trying to eat less crap at the moment) so a 0.6kg drop. hope it stays there. i don't like that these scales weigh me heavier! but im pretty sure they're more accurate than my old ones :(

It's a NUMBER. A tool. It doesn't matter that one set of scales is different to the other: YOU still weighed the same. Your actual weight "number" is technically meaningless given the inherent error in all measurement instruments, particularly when you start going into the point such and such. What you're looking for is the direction of weight change, and even then even the change from one day to the next is fairly inaccurate, trends across a number of measurement points are WAAAAYYYYY more accurate.

It's still not related to which scales you use though

So you put a couple of kg's back on? Happens to everyone. You already have a suspicion about what might have caused it which is GREAT because you can look at changing it. Slip ups and lapses are completely normal and best seen as teaching points....

Love your work :D

Hey Matchbox. I've been away for a while and quite delighted to see you made your goal weight. Hope the little extra you were worried about is now gone. :D

thanks guys  i'm really happy where i am at the moment weight-wise :) didn't put on anything over christmas so thats even better  I'm glad that even with christmas and the party season i have found that this is maintainable for me. This year however, I'd like to get fit and hopefully a bit more toned in the process - but whatever happens will be all good!

Good to see you are still around fireball! and john, i'm always around  justt mostly lurking though
