I think it ruins movies when you over analyse them.
I think so too, I enjoyed the film, It was weird at first I thought, cause it was just only him in the world, My partner was like picking out all the holes  he always does that in movies, it's annoying sometimes, I always need to remind him that it's just a movie...Sometimes I think he would make a brilliant director!

It was real sad when sam the dog died and then will goes into the shop and speaks to th dummy! asking it too say hi   poor dude, I drop a bit of a tear there....

We did enjoy it despite the holes.
 I think the worst weakness in the movie was Will's comment that the zombie people had lost all human attributes.
 The advert for the movie was incorrect, he was not the last man, ignoring the sanctuary, the zombie people were men & women - they were infected not animals - they just acted like animals, but so do some people I've met! He spent all his time trying cure them so plainly he knew they were human.
 The zombie people didn't know where he lived because he made sure he was inside before dark - when the woman brought him home it was dark so they could follow and they did.
 The sudden dose of spirituality annoyed me, it felt like it was a last minute idea dumped in there.
 I took it the woman was part of the crew on a medical ship. If that was the case, where did her kid come from?
I never thought that he could have set the trap himself. He was supposed to be hanging there for ages so the Zombie man may have just found him there. I had assumed the Zombie had learnt to set the trap. I cant think of anyway to solve that one.

yeah that was the explanation but if you remember he had returned home after dark at least on the night he got caught by the trap. Why didn't they follow him home that night OR at least the local zombies may have found him?

I think he would have made sure they didn't follow him that night when he was caught in the trap, he knew what they were capable of. Thats why he sanitised the steps everyday etc. She wouldn't have known that.

I took it the woman was part of the crew on a medical ship. If that was the case, where did her kid come from?

She never said he was her kid. She probably found him along the way or maybe he was on the ship. The ship was a refuge for people, so he could have been on there perhaps.

 You are right Joh he did arrive after dark. I also cant remember where he parked his car. If they were raoming around at nigth that noone recogniesd it... oh that's right, they had no human attributes so cant recognise car models.

 You are right about the kid. I assssumed he was hers.

I enjoyed this movie - just sat back and enjoyed the ride, even the bits where I had my fingers in my ears. I didn't think about it too much. I'm sure if I did I'd come up with a lot of holes. I just really like the concept. I loved the dog too and was so sad when she died :( but I didn't cry. It disturbed me though.
Just keep moving! And don't be lazy...

I am such a big sook, I cry at everything... but we had a german shepard just like her when I was little and she died so it kind of made me think of her.

Will Smith is so cool!

I went and saw it tonight and the only thing I will say negative about it is the end seemed rushed. Sure there were things that weren't explained but to do that you'd need 2 more hours.

And I LOVED his dog!!!

Yeah I enjoyed it...I can forgive holes.

I have seen it more than twice and really enjoyed it but must say it was definitely its Will Smith who make a trap to this movie really awesome.

It was sooooooooo good but really scary! I was also really sad when the dog died.
One thing about it though is that it didn't really feel over. I was kind of feeling like, what happens next?
