There seems to be a lot of fat shows on TV (mostly PayTV it seems) at the moment. Have you caught any of them?
On MTV there is the best one called I Used To Be Fat and I love this show. It takes fat kids, about 18 years old, and follows them for the summer before they go off to uni. They have a trainer who gives them info on all things healthy and for the most part these kids turn out great results. There was only one I saw that a boy lost his focus. Losing It on Channel Ten (I think??) on a Sunday afternoon has Jillian Michaels going into a family's home for a week and setting them straight on food and exercise. I find her a bit over the top at times but still I like the show and it keeps me focused on my own goals.
Lifestyle You is currently showing a Biggest Loser UK show on a Saturday morning.
And this week I caught a show called "Too Fat for 15" about a 'fat camp' in the US. They had given a young girl who was 33 stone from the UK a scholarship to the camp for a year. Over the time she lost 15 stone and was doing great - this was in about 2009. I googled her after the show to see how she was going and the poor thing is now 40 stone. FORTY stone. So sad. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/ne ... at-17.html
any other shows you know of?
