I too love reading. I read every day. Usually before sleeping. Always have done. I also read in the bath (one of life's great pleasures!)
Last week I read a Mitch Albom book called "For One More Day". asnt too bad. Little syrupy in places. But a good read nevertheless. I had previously read his "Five People You Meet in Heaven" which I thought was really good.
Last night I started "The Shifting Fog" by Kate Morton.
Would be keen to hear from others about what they are reading at the moment. Maybe even do a little mini-book club!

I dont read too much lately. Last thing I wrote was a booklet that took me about an hour to dig through, freely translated "come back home". It's an explanation of the "parable of the prodigal son", a passage from the Bible. Really interesting, but not sure whether it qualifies as literature ;)

Next thing I will be reading is probably a study book for my MCSE study that I should finally finish...

LOVE reading. I get all my books online from the UK. Not sure if I am allowed to post links, but if you want to know a supercheap way to get books, PM me. :)

"Eye Of The Labyrinth" by Jennifer Fallon. It's book 2 of the "Second Suns" trilogy set in a medieval fantasy world in which a young prince of a backwater province discovers that the semi-theocracy under which he lives is built on a lie.

I've read many hundreds of fantasy novels and this is up there with the best of them.

I can´t read just one book at the time, else I can´t strangely focus on the story so well...Currently I am reading "Pride and Prejudice" (re-reading actually) and at the same "In Cold Blood" by Truman Capote. I am absolutly loving it! His type of narration is great! Totally recommend it!!

After a few detours (other books) I eventually got around to finishing the Second Suns trilogy mentioned above. The pace didn't slacken in the third book either, and it now ranks as one of my all-time favourite fantasy novels.

I've now begun the Farseer Trilogy of fantasy novels by Robin Hogg. It's about a prince's illegitimate son growing up, learning the skills of an assassin. I think this is another winner.

Unlike my previous book, a novellisation of the TSR Forgotten Realms "Pool Of Radiance". Oh, dear, it was dire. Standard Dungeons & Dragons fare complete with cardboard cutout characters, cliches and contrivances colonising every corridor, and the dreaded deux ex machinae brought out whenever the plot painted itself into a corner. It was fun in a brutal way, but dire in execution.

Back to Farseer...

The Farseer trilogy turned out to be one of the best set of fantasy books I've ever read. Intelligent, creative, moving.

There are more books by Robin Hobb set in that world, including some sequels which I am looking forward to reading.

Not really reading anything, but am browsing through a cycling catalog right now.

Last things I actually read were the Twilight Saga books.

I'm currently reading Good Girls do Swallow by Rachael Oakes-Ash.
It's written by a woman who has gone through anorexia, bulimia, bulimarexia, gym mania, strict dieting and binge eating before she finally figured out how to stop torturing herself and hating her body.
I've only just started it but so far it's good. She is very honest and I can I relate to a lot of the stuff she talks about.

Yesterday was my birthday and I got the movie Fireproof and the book The Love Dare. As the movie Fireproof was pretty inspiring I decided to start The Love Dare right away. Never hurts to improve my marriage...
