yep, a family section would be great as then we could have posts for healthy eating thru our pregnacies, healthy eating and exercise after, recipes for fussy eating kids, how to sort weight loss into family and work life etc. looking forward to it.

Someone should pm Scott/admin - I don't have kids and not looking to do so in the near future, so someone else should take responsibility for setting up the forum :P

I was just thinking, maybe it could go in the Introductions section, there should be a sticky called "forum rules - please read before posting"... just as there have been a couple of people this week attempting to sell their products and services. I don't think they realised that it is not allowed :?

that is also a good idea :) but would they read it? if they wanted to just come on and sell stuff? those pesky fellas hehe but yeah good idea for newcomers too, about what is correct behaviour and what not

I was actually looking for "rules" this week.

Although I joined years ago... (I then got pregnant - twice!)... I posted in the "what do you do for a living" thread.

I put my web address and posted... then realised that maybe it wasn't allowed (I really wasn't sure).

I wasn't able to edit my post... so I pm'd admin and checked with them.

So yep - a simple "rules" would be great.... particularly if there is a "no links" policy.

- still not 100% sure why we can't edit our own posts....
- and "report" a post would be a handy feature (if this forum allows that). I can't believe the amount of spam this forum gets - and mods do a great job of deleting it.

Great suggestions guys!

I've just added a Parenting and Weightloss thread in the Weightloss Section and added a sticky post on Forum Rules in the introduction section.

Thanks for the great feedback and enjoy the new parenting section.

Scott. :D

I have only joined this week. But I thought perhaps introducing a Bride to Be section...talking from experience weddings are a huge motivation for ladies to lose weight. Why not have a section where brides to be can chat about their up coming weddings and what they are doing to be a slim stunning bride!
