Which foods repetitively contibute to your downfall?

My downfall foods are:
Chicken Treat
Bread
Cheese
& Chocolate


I don't yet know how to rectify the problem,
perhaps I could prepare some emergency snacks for those weak moments.

maybe we should just eat them in moderation
oh I forgot Pink Champagne is my weakness too :lol:

Bread is definately one of mine.... I got a breadmaker as part of my mothers day present - right before i started watching what i was eating... mmmmm the smell of fresh bread

Chocolate is also another one - if i have it in the house. Now i have just stopped buying it so often... just as a treat every now and then.

Oh and cheese.... but i have laid off that recently...

Thats all i can think of at the moment

We might be seeing a pattern here! I also love chocolate and bread and cheese and anything creamy. And when I'm feeling really down I have been known to polish off a big bag of Smith's cheese and onion chips and half a tub of ice-cream.

You are right there is definitely a common pattern here.

So does anyone have any recommendations on how we can stop craving Bread, Cheese & Chocolate?

wholly molly! where do i start with my weaknesses! :shock:

chocolate
salt and vinegar chips
hot chips
chocolate nesquick
bread
dips and cheeses
mmm maybe i will leave it there

thing is, i just love food!i blame my mother! i dont deny myself these things when i am really craving them, but there has to be moderation. and if i do deny myself something i just crave it even more and end up eating more than if i had just let myself have a little!

i also have little post it notes all round the kitchen with things like "are you sure you really need that?", "you know if you eat that it will just end up on your ass", "you should swap that over for an orange, they are healthy and full of goodness" my kitchen looks great for it!

they dont always work (and my friends love adding other stupid ones) but they do make you think about what you are putting into your body and remind you that you are working hard to improve your health and fitness and by giving in to those little temptations arent going to help you reach your goals.

I have given up bread, everything with cream, chocolate, chips all of which I truly loved without a problem.

I can not stop eating CHEESE, I have tried just eating my portion size with no success. Once the packet is opened I can not stop till it's finished. :oops:

My only way of controling this is to no longer buy any.

I used to eat alot of bread, crakcers, bread rolls ect.

Now, I only buy wholemeal bread and it is in the frezzer so if I want it, I have to take it out and let it defrost which means I have to wait. My bread intake has gone down.
