Ethiopian food?

Postby Gal Friday » Fri Jan 11, 2008 10:43 am

So tonight we are going out to dinner with some of Glenn's friends, and we are having Ethiopian.

I have NO idea how this fits into our healthy eating plan! If it was Italian or Chinese or Thai I would know and make better choices, but am not sure with Ethiopian!

Any ideas?

I am proud of myself. I struggled really hard not to make a joke about Ethiopian Cuisine being an empty plate.

 :P I did wonder if someone would make the joke!

We had lots of food. lol. Different curries and lentils and yummies. I had all vegetarian. And it comes with yummy pancake bread that you eat the food in. I have had ethiopian at a few different places, but this is the one we always go back to! It is great!

And they make their own ice creams/sorbets. Tonight we shared one (that was our token good thing lol) and had cumquat with roasted almonds. YUM.
