The Atkins Lemon Poppy Muffin

is the worst muffin I have ever tried...Yuck it's like eating cardboard.

It's a low carb-muffin. I bought it because its only 61cals for a 55g muffin. Never again am I going to go for low carb foods

Carbs aren't evil as long as you eat in moderation.

Anyway, thought I would share with you all, my opinion of this product.

I will give you all a breakdown of the nutritional info:
Per serve
-251kjs (61cals), 8g protein, 0.5g fat, 3gs Carbs, 3gs Fiber, 150mg Sodium.

The nutritional panel looks great but it still taste like eating cardboard and also had a soapy taste. I took one bite chucked the muffin out with the rest of the batch and though to myself I would much rather eat 61cals from real food

I haven't seen them around, did you get it from the supermarket? Atkins is normally high in fat so the stuff i've tried is yummy, but thats mainly choc and protein bars. The caramel/choc nougat bar is SO yummy but for 30grams its almost $3! 7 grams fat, 1gram carbs and around 140cals.

Thanks for the heads up though, I won't waste my money if I see the around!
Saying goodbye to calorie counting AND scales for a while.

Just enjoying the new and improved healthy me and embracing my new lifestyle!

I bought the mix from a health food store.

I've never tried protein bars, I don't think I'll try any other Atkins product though
