ok so to lose weight i should be having about 1200 calories.
i just blew it today eating some chocolate, ive forgiven myself but scared im going to put on again. Aparently to put on weight you have to eat over 3,500 calories to on weight. I dont think ive had THAT much, no way. mayb 1500 calories? will i put on weight?

Thats actually a really good question, each time i have blown my cals i think oh crap thats weight up a bit, but there would have to be a certain amount to maintain and a higher amount to gain. I feel so dim for not thinking that. The whole time i have been losing weight thinking i can either lose or gain haha.

Doesnt it have to do with your current weight and level of activity. I have just joined Jenny Craig and am on an eating plan of 6400kj which is approximately 1523cals. I dont think you would put on weight if you ate 1500 cal. Dont beat yourself up. If you can stick to 1200 on every other day you are doing really well.
Need to get motivated.

Everybody's different. But I would think you should be right with 1500cal. For me, I lose slightly or maintain at 1500cal, anything more than that an I will gain. Definitely by 2000cal I'm stacking it on  You just have to do trial and error to find the calorie intake that's right for you....
