I have just had a look at your recipes to find a low calorie pasta dish and saw this: Pasta Primavera with Fresh Pesto Sauce Recipe - your serving size of average is 660 calories. Doesn't that make it really too high for someone on a diet???

660 calories for a full meal is not that bad actually, the average calories for a woman to have per day should be about 1800 (i think, others know better than I do!!)

its about balance, for example if you make the serving exactly as directed, but only have half of it (as in exactly half) then your calorie intake is significantly less, and then with daily and regular exercise and having other low calorie foods throughout the day, your weight should start to come off.

My average intake per day is about 1500 calories, and each week for the past month I have been losing weight, so its not about concentrating on the one meal, it is about how you balance it for the rest of the day!
