In weight watchers terms Kate 1 1/2 points of cashews is about 7 nuts.Roughly how many points I have for a snack. I love them too and funnily enough had just bought some and had my 6 before jumping on the computer..

It may also make a difference how you have them Kate. As in raw, salted, roasted and salted etc. If you want a break down let me.

I completely agree with that! One time, not so long ago, I ate a whole bowl full (a normal sized cereal bowl, filled to the top). I was sooooo sick after that... and I must say that a few did come back up again

I have not eaten a single cashew since that day. Can't even look at them now :(

I've moved on to almonds and am determined not to have a repeat performance. I have 10 - 15 per day and that's it

Cashews are one of my favourite nuts and are very yummy!! Almonds are the next top of the list. I buy the dry-roasted unsalted ones when I can get them, but I do have to limit them or I would eat a lot too Kate!! I am sure that you will find that happy balance!!

Woohoo that was good Debbie. LOL I was thinking what a cute little cashew nut until you said that and now all I can think is chokito and check it out the word tasty is right next to it!

6 or 7 cashews, don't you just love it, portion sizes, they're all like that. My hubby asks if it's ok to have dried fruit and nuts, I'm like sure a small handful...actually my small handful (his hands are huge) and he just looks at me as if I am the nut!

Nope I can't stop at 6 or 7 either unless it's part of the packs of dried fruit and nuts I buy. You get about 5 raw cashews.

I also love brazil nuts but you can almost suck the oil coming out of those.

Mine are in a jar at the back of the top shelf of the pantry. I have to get a chair to reach them.. then I just get a few out, put the chair back, then eat them. If I want more, then I have to go get the chair again etc.. so that stops me eating the whole jar full at once! (well, apart from that one time I described before  )

Leaving nuts within view and within easy reach is a recipe for disaster lol.

The cashew nut picture is very cute too
