I was reading a mag today and one of their tips was instead of havign a sandwhich with bread, why not wrap the usual contents of it in a large cos lettuce leaf... seems odd but the pic they used has my mouth watering!!! apparently it can save you at least 300kjs a week... worth a try i reckon!

Well done Grug! Now I'm thinking about how my sandwich would be if I replaced the bread with sand! LOL - have completely lost the plot I think.

Actually - replacing the bread with lettuce is a great idea... Must try that sometime.

Mmm - that is a yummy dish.

here's how a lot of Korean food is eaten ... you cook it at your table (marinated meat... yummm) then wrap a bit in a lettuce leaf with some garlic, onion, kimchi, chilli, rice... whatever else is on the table and then wrap it in a lettuce leaf.

It's like that Chinese dish - San Choi Bow or something, except what they put it it isn't so lean!!!

More like 3000kj a week savings! Would be good with Mountain bread too - that's save about400kj+ a pop!
