Popcorn - low fat

Postby mrs c » Wed Mar 28, 2007 12:13 pm

Hey all

I have discovered this awesome snack - low fat microwave popcorn that comes in a snack size (about the average chip packet size) so you dont eat too much. Its the Poppin brand and only has about 100 calories/3g fat per bag.

I was very proud of my self the other day warren decided he wanted to have popcorn the extra butter kind I only had 1 bit of pop corn & stayed away from it & kept myself busy by starting to pack, later on he come up to me with the bag & said have some I don't want to eat the whole bag without you eating any & I turned around & said I don't want any but in the back of my mind I really wanted to eat it but i didn't

nice going chelle, its hard when people around you are eating it too. sorta like people giving up smoking but being around other smokers probably doesnt help!

Such self control! That's what is going to get you to your goal Chelle, eating only what you actually need.

Popcorn has to be one of the favourite afternoon teas here. I buy a bag of popping corn, and we pop it in the microwave, the bag lasts for a long time, and it is the cheapest snack ever. The kids don't even have anything on it. To make it even better it leaves the house smelling like the movies
