magic vegie bags!!

Postby kate_turner2000 » Sat Apr 21, 2007 3:09 pm

the other day i saw on telly these bags you can buy to put your fruit and vegies in so that they dont spoil so quickly. so i brought some today and will let you know how it goes. i get sick of buying things like broccoli in dribs and drabs because it goes yellow so quickly. theyre called: Fresh n Crisp bags and you will find them in the section where the ziplock bags and al foil are!

Sounds interesting Kate. Let us know how well they work, I also find it frustrating that veges go off quickly in the fridge. I have got to the point that I visit the fruit & veg shop every few days - lucky it is only 3 blocks away.

Judy :D

I have seen these and used to use something similar years ago and they worked quite well.......there is nothing worse than soggy veges

Oh I've seen these - keep me posted - I'd love to be able to keep broccoloi and beans and stuff a bit longer.
