You can make savory mince, or even a meatloaf and pour it over that maybe - I really only use it in pasta/rice.

I use it in cassroles with meat, potato, onions and carrot and have it with rice or mash, pour it over my veges for some flavour, use it in soup if i have some leftover that needs using up...

you could use it at a pinch as a substitute for canned tomatoes in a rattatouille (sp??)

Depending on the pasta sauce, I sometimes just add meat cut up into chunks and some fresh vegies and eat it on its own. Hubby has it with some bread for dipping.. simple and yummy!

I make an egg plant lasagne with pasta sauce (I don't add a cheese/ cream sauce though yuck).

Get a large egg plant slice it up like lasagne sheets boil them, then add pasta sauce and layer up just like lasagne and pop in oven. I add a small sprinkling of low fat grated cheese on top.

It's delish

my mum does similar but with pumpkin or sweet potato. She usually does a ricotta/spinach/egg/garlic mix in between the layers of vegies and sauce (that mix is really good for normal lasagne and canneloni too (sauce/pasta/spinach mix etc)which are my special occasion dishes).

Incredibly delicious and flavoursome, especially if you augment the pasta sauce with other vegies (I fry up onion, garlic, capsicum, tomato, zuchinni, broccoli and mix the pasta sauce in)

yummy yummy for my tummy!!!
