i love knowing what people put in their trolleys.

here's whats on my grocery list this week-

:arrow: 2 packs of rice mountain bread wraps
:arrow: mushrooms
:arrow: zucchini
:arrow: capsicums
:arrow: onions
:arrow: lettuce
:arrow: baby spinach
:arrow: avocado
:arrow: apples
:arrow: potatoes
:arrow: eggs
:arrow: low fat sour cream
:arrow: low fat cottage cheese
:arrow: low fat plain yogurt
:arrow: nestle diet rice puddings
:arrow: low fat cheese- sliced and grated
:arrow: deli low fat ham/chicken slice/ turkey slice
:arrow: chicken breast fillets
:arrow: lean bacon
:arrow: 2 pieces of lean steak
:arrow: couple cans of tuna in springwater
:arrow: diet caramel topping
:arrow: skim milk
:arrow: weight watchers cereal bars
:arrow: rice crackers
:arrow: natural almonds
:arrow: gum/mints
:arrow: low joule apricot jam
:arrow: canned fruit
:arrow: frozen steamed vegies
:arrow: frozen fruits
:arrow: low fat vanilla ice cream slices

My shopping list is too huge to list it all but some essentials are-
:arrow: $50-60 worth of fruit and vege-apples are a must and whatevers in season
:arrow: tins of tuna ans salmon- I love these for my dinner at work with a salad
:arrow: 4 boxes of cereal usually wheatbix, rice bubbles,ect
:arrow: tins of tomatoes and beans
:arrow: stuff for baking ( I make cakes and bickies for the kids school lunches)
:arrow: seads and nut
:arrow: rice crackers(big fan)
:arrow: 9lL of milk, 2kg cheese, and yougurt fatfree natural for me, vanilla for the kids, 2 dozen eggs, butter
:arrow: diet coke(Im a addict)
:arrow: I get most of my meat for free, usually chicken breast,
there is heaps more but I cant remember, I shop pretty cheeply because I dont buy much pre-packaged crap!!

:arrow: tub low fat vanilla yoghurt
:arrow: pack wholemeal muffins
:arrow: low fat pancake mix
:arrow: low fat marg
:arrow: cans vegetable soup
:arrow: canned spaghetti/baked beans
:arrow: lite crumbed fish portions
:arrow: vegie patties
:arrow: 2 cans lite evaporated milk
:arrow: pack long spaghetti/maccaroni/bowties

hmmm thats about it, and I shop at Aldi and its soooo cheap! Gotta love Aldi! :D

hmmm will try and think of what we get off the top of my head this is fortnightly

:arrow: 1-2kg chicken breast
:arrow: 1-2kg mince- usually pork mince
:arrow: a tray of lean steak
:arrow: a roast beef or roast chicken
:arrow: gravox
:arrow: $30 of vegies
:arrow: extra chewing gum
:arrow: dolmio bolognaise sauce
:arrow: tomato soup
:arrow: 2 min noodle containers for micks lunch
:arrow: weight watchers lite sour cream
:arrow: frozen peas and corn and carrots and beans mixed
:arrow: 500g bega cheese
:arrow: taco kit
:arrow: continental rice, pasta packets
:arrow: tomato sauce
:arrow: some sort of herb (i buy the woolies select jars)
:arrow: rindless short cut bacon from the deli
:arrow: 3l milk
:arrow: spagetti or lasagne sheets
:arrow: bechamel sauce sometimes
:arrow: a choccie each
:arrow: weet bix
:arrow: moccona for mick
:arrow: white sugar for mick
:arrow: toiletries and cleaning products and loo paper
:arrow: vegie fresh bags
:arrow: freezer bags if we have run out

and every fortnight on another day i go with mum to get heidis things:

:arrow: tinned fruit
:arrow: bikkies sweet and some savoury
:arrow: jarrah hot chocolatte


most of our meals each night are meat and veg except for sometimes like tonight we have stew, or spag bol or tacos just for something different.

I live less than 5 minutes walk from Safeway ... so I tend to go there several times a week to pick up what I need for the day (or the next). Very convenient! :) It's also on the walk home from the train station on the days I head into the CBD, that's also very convenient. And my sister's Chocolate shop is right there too... and the fruit & veggie shops, bakery etc.
Just keep moving! And don't be lazy...

It's behind puckle street, near Safeway, opposite the big carpark.

Yummm... whole new range just in, including Valhrona and some single origin Columbian stuff - yummm ... and can't wait to check out the mango & chilli choc, too :D

cauliflower/brussel sprouts/leek/spinach/spring onion (when I feel the need)
bag potato (not every week)
bag apples (not every week)
bag onions (not every week)
lemons (to stew apples)

Supermarket
tomatoes
garlic
sugar snap peas and baby corn (if a stirfry is planned)
toasted muesli (for bloke) and vitabrits when needed
bread and crumpets if required for bloke
full cream milk (for bloke) and low fat lactose free milk (for me)
biscuits and chips (for bloke if needed)
3 ish 2.5lt bottles of soda water
tinned: tuna, baked beans, corn, beetroot, kidney beans, champignons, chopped tomato (as the pantry requires)
pasta sauce
ham/turkey (recently anyway)
tomato sauce/mustard/vinegar if the condiments are low at home
herbs/spices as required at home
no fat yoghurt if desired
cheese (normal, cream cheese for bloke, parmesan or substitute) cottage/ricotta and butter as the need arises
flour, sugar other cooking ingredients as the need arises
jam/honey for bloke
fruit mix, sultanas (LSA when needed)
toiletrey stuff as required
forzen peas/pastry as needed
spaghetti/tacos as needed

Health Food Shop (every month or so)
cashews
toothpaste
fresh ground peanut butter

Hmm, I think that's about it.... there's a lot there but it's not all in the trolly every week apart from the vegies which is pretty standard.
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).
Back to the drawing board - Let's do this thing!

Puckle Street? As in Moonee Ponds? Phew!! Way too far for me to travel. That's great - I just saved god knows how many calories :D :D
