EasiYo Yoghurt Maker

Postby zeedeveelgirl » Sat Jul 07, 2007 10:51 pm

Hi Guys!

Just wondering if anyone has a EasiYo Yoghurt maker? I want to buy one and I just wanted to know people's opinions on it :D

I've been really into the Margaret River Greek Style Yoghurt lately, and at $2.99 for a 500g tub it's a tad expensive, so I wanted to make my own :D They have some delicious flavours out!

So any opinions would be greatly appreciated :)

Hi Em, my mum and I both have one and she can make beautiful yoghurt in hers....she swears by it!!

I on the other hand can never get mine to work :( It never sets for me and I follow the instructions down to the letter.

They are definitely worth the money though (mum makes mine for me sometimes!) and at least you know how much sugar is in it!!

Have you ever had the easy yo ice cream??? you don't need the yoghurt maker for it, but it is really yummy too!!!

I have one and I LOVE IT!

It's awesome - I make natural yoghurt now in place of sour cream, which is so much better for you, and I always have yoghurt on hand for the kids.

Win win situation I say.

Although I do generally make the full cream yoghurt - but that's still only like 3 and a half percetn fat - so much better than an alternative sugar fix, and it so thick and creamy - I just love it.

A friend of mine has one and also swears by it, the ice cream sounds great too :D I've been really into the Greek Yoghurt lately, especially because I'm on antibiotics yet again, and this is a cheap way to get my fix :D

The easiyo are heaps cheap - and yes Kate it works out loads cheaper.

You can get extra containers for your yoghurt maker from Kmart too - I always seem to have two on the go at any time - one natural, one fruity.

Ooh I really want one of those doodads. I LOVE yoghurt...yum!

Oh my god I had a Soda Stream! They were the shiznit in summer. We had the old ones with the glass bottles. Then they bought out ones with plastic bottles...pshhh...inferior! We used to add normal cordial but sometimes mum would go to this soft drink factory and buy bulk bottles of syrup. Very rarely would she buy the official Soda Stream syrup...too expensive.

Ah...memories. Stop me before I start reminiscing about watching "Hey Hey it's Saturday" in my dressing gown sitting on a bean bag, having a milo.
