milk in tea?

Postby milo » Mon Jul 16, 2007 6:23 pm

I am going to start calculating points again.

How many points would you say for your milk in tea. Both light and full fat

It depends on the amount of milk you use Milo...I know I got a shock as I was using more milk in my tea and coffee than I realised!! It jumped up from 34 calories to 51!! Now I just go careful on how much milk I put in.....

....in regards to points it would be the same I guess...how much you use, would depend on the amount of points per cup.....maybe set aside a certain amount of milk (1/2 cup to 1 cup) just for cuppas only, that way then you could allocate whatever point value that is for milk and know that you are covered.....that is what I used to do when I was on WW!! HOpe this is a help to you

thats a great idea ally to allocate say a cup for the day and just use it throughout :D Milo, I noticed you have asked a few times RE points for things, have u considered getting a points guide?? I have some old ones (one I bought from ww a year or so ago, and one from an op shop I just found) anyway, they're great, and when I was on ww found them invaluable :) I think you can get them pretty cheap on ebay too :) Just an idea

sugar is 1/2 point for 2 tsp, and puratone is 1.5pts for 250ml, so id say 1/2 pt per tea maybe?? I always overestimate on things like that just incase! :D
