Okay so I don't get alot of time to cook/prepare healthy meals, especially for lunch. I eat way too much bread (I usually have toast for breakfast then bread rolls with salads for lunch). I want to cut down on the bread so I was thinking what if I cooked some brown rice and had that with something like some tinned veggie/tomato soup? Wold that be any good?

I'm really confused about the BEST things to eat...

Also, what about nuts (unsalted), are they ok to at between meals or should I have something different? Any suggestions?

got to watch the rice, you can eat it by all means- basmati is good apparently but what you eat in rice can be the equivalent of what you are eating in bread so i think thats what you are trying to steer clear of isnt it? how about soup with some crackers? savoury muffins? nuts are good too however watch how many you are consuming. i love cashew nuts (unsalted) and i can only have 20 nuts per serve- to me that doesnt seem like a lot and once its gone i think 'man i want more!' lol. theyre not filling but theyre good fats. you can eat some fruit or cut up some vegie sticks and have a dip with it, munch on cherry tomatoes. i sometimes have saos with vegemite :)
