I think i asked this question in the wrong section, but i was wondering is there something that happens to our bodies that makes it harder to shed weight after pregnancy? I am unable to exercise due to disability but always found that with diet i could always get to my goal weight, now its happening ever so slowly and i feel like i've plateuad with 16 kgs to get to my goal weight pre-pregancy. Does our bodies keep those extra fat stores after birth or do our metabolisms slow? I realise that my stomach will probably never get as flat, not that it was so flat in the first place!
