Hi everyone. I only found this weight loss forum today. I'm a week late in signing up for the 12 week challenge, but hope I can still join in.
It's strange though that I actually went and saw a dietician on the 17th Jan (for the first time eva!!) so I actually do have a starting point with a weigh in same as this starting date which is pretty freaky.
I weighed in at 103.4 kg last Monday. I was a bit higher then I expected so I was pretty shocked. But I guess it was a good wake up call.
I am 166cm tall Female, Age: 34 years
I guess I would like to try and Lose over 33 kilograms and try and reach a target weight of 70kg.
I have been overweight by 30 kilos now for over 3 years. Have been a yo yo dieter for the last 10-15 years old and probably done just about every diet out there. lol But I guess the key is motivation. I think I am focused now and mentally able to go through it this time completely without sliding back. ( I hope lol)
The dietician has told me to go on a diet between 1200 - 1500 calories. (doing my own foods - counting calories etc) and gave me some recommendations on what to cut out etc and what to try and eat. I have to go and see her every 2-3 weeks.
So since Monday I've started. my mum was using her little calorie king book and said it was good...so I signed up to the free membership of calorie king and using their calorie counters website to help try and keep me on track.
First day I was still pretty hungy even after 1500 calories and drinking heaps of water has been so hard for me...second day was better.....
Water....I really struggle sometimes to drink more then a litre a day. lol How can I drink so much...it's so hard....but I've been making myself drink a glass with every meal. Then their is the added benefit (not) of going to the toilet every hour.
I have been good to make sure I do exercise each day...and have been aiming for 20 mins a day until I get used to it. So far it's been a struggle even to do just 20 mins!! So shows how unfit I am...though my dog is happy lol

I will weigh in tommorrow....though first I have to buy a new battery for my scales so I can weigh myself...lol xx
