Had my baby girl Leah on 13/12/10!

Weight at 40 weeks: 81.5kg
SW 4 days post-baby: 74.4kg
CW: 67kg

1st mini goal: 72kg - DONE!
2nd mini goal: 70kg - DONE!
3rd mini goal: 67kg - DONE!

4th mini goal: 64kg

Hello all :)

Well, heading toward the end of Week 1 and I am pleased to announce I have been following my plan pretty much to the letter. Apart from the fact I have not done any purposeful exercise today (still time though!).

I am eating MUCH better, and drinking lots more water (sick of getting up to go to the loo in the night though!)

I am debating whether to post my weight tomorrow or not...I am still retaining a LOT of fluid and am still not down to my weight of a week or so ago (it went up 2kg or so overnight due to fluid). It is also almost TTOTM so that wont help.

Still, regardless of the scales, I am on my way.

I am going to slightly revise my goals to include eat at least 2 serves of fruit a day. I am not a big fruit eater so I struggle with this. I am also aiming to keep my sodium to under 2000mg a day (which is proving difficult atm, even without "adding" salt to anything!)

Hope everyone else is doing well.

Yay to all of us for putting ourselves first and embarking on this challenge :P

I am also worried about weigh in day tomorrow! I posted my starting weight as 109.7 but I think it might have been incorrect! Lol, my scales are very tempermental and I have to have them in the exact spot every time! Plus i'm hormonal this week, so I don't think that is helping!!! Oh well, we will wait and see hey?

Hi everyone. I only found this weight loss forum today. I'm a week late in signing up for the 12 week challenge, but hope I can still join in. :-) It's strange though that I actually went and saw a dietician on the 17th Jan (for the first time eva!!) so I actually do have a starting point with a weigh in same as this starting date which is pretty freaky.

I weighed in at 103.4 kg last Monday. I was a bit higher then I expected so I was pretty shocked. But I guess it was a good wake up call.

I am 166cm tall Female, Age: 34 years

I guess I would like to try and Lose over 33 kilograms and try and reach a target weight of 70kg.

I have been overweight by 30 kilos now for over 3 years. Have been a yo yo dieter for the last 10-15 years old and probably done just about every diet out there. lol But I guess the key is motivation. I think I am focused now and mentally able to go through it this time completely without sliding back. ( I hope lol)

The dietician has told me to go on a diet between 1200 - 1500 calories. (doing my own foods - counting calories etc) and gave me some recommendations on what to cut out etc and what to try and eat. I have to go and see her every 2-3 weeks.

So since Monday I've started. my mum was using her little calorie king book and said it was good...so I signed up to the free membership of calorie king and using their calorie counters website to help try and keep me on track.

First day I was still pretty hungy even after 1500 calories and drinking heaps of water has been so hard for me...second day was better.....

Water....I really struggle sometimes to drink more then a litre a day. lol How can I drink so much...it's so hard....but I've been making myself drink a glass with every meal. Then their is the added benefit (not) of going to the toilet every hour.

I have been good to make sure I do exercise each day...and have been aiming for 20 mins a day until I get used to it. So far it's been a struggle even to do just 20 mins!! So shows how unfit I am...though my dog is happy lol

Hope it's okay to join in with everyone in this challenge. :-)

I will weigh in tommorrow....though first I have to buy a new battery for my scales so I can weigh myself...lol xx

Hey I'm Steph! Been on this forum since October, recording my calories every single day. Would like to join in on this. I've already lost 16 kilos and I want to lose another 10. I weighed myself yesterday (sunday) and I was 76 kilos. By the end of April I would like to be 70 kilos. I'm starting to go off the rails a bit after starting off well so hopefully this will help. Looking forward to reading everyone else's weigh-ins.
