:D YAHOO!!! :D

I am down anothe 0.3kg. :D So currently 103.6kg Happy is me!!! :D :D Next weeks target is hitting 103 or less. Less would be better.

Weighed in at home so I wouldn't hurt myself getting in and out of the car. Still a drop is a drop.

Haven't been to the gym since Tuesday due to injury. :( Should see me. Right hand strapped to my left shoulder. Right arm immobilised so it can't move. Rolled out of bed and fractured my collar bone when I hit the side table. OUCH!!! @#*%!! It hurts. I'm on some lovely drugs at the moment because of the pain. Makes me feel good. :)

So am doing basic exercise. A gentle walk everyday. EXTREMELY GENTLE!!! If I step too firm or jolt or even twist wrong a shaft of pain ricochets down my back and arm. Not a happy experience.

Well. cheerio. Painkiller time and a movie. Mmmm....

SO:
    Starting Weight: 104.1kg
    Current Weight: 103.6kg
    Total Loss: 0.5kg

Morning everyone!

Oops. Not so good week this week. Sitting at 102.3, so 0.3kg gain this week  . Have cheated myself and completely know what I did (or didn't do...) Have stocked up on healthy snacks, and will be more dedicated with drinking more water and writing everything down this week. I would love to be at 100.0kg next Monday, to get me back on track to where I want to be. Goodbye January, Hello February.

Hope you all did really well this week!
No More Excuses :)

Hello... though I'd give you a little back ground.

I am 24 (in 24 days ) and I hit my heaviest weight EVER several months ago. I am determined to do somehting about so I can join the Navy and start saving money so I can start a family. :) I had 28.8kg to lose and I am hoping to lose most of it by May at the latest.

So I have been utilising the Kate Morgan Program. http://www.katemorgan.com.au The program is a meal replacement regime where you have a shake for breakfast and a shake for lunch, with a lean protein for dinner with salad and fruit for snacks. Works well too. :D

So far I have lost 5.2kg and 22cm total off my bust, waist, abdomen, hips and thighs. :D Happy Little Vegemite Am I.

I have been tortured with my weight for years but it wasn't until my second last year of High School I was diagnosed with Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome which - unfortunately - has the nasty side effect of weight gain, hormone inbalance, facial hair (ICK) :x and lack of cycles. I am seriously hoping the weight loss will be able to bring my body back into alignment.

Well I am off from here and headed to the gym. CIAO! :)

OOps!!! Totally forgot to weigh in this morning!!!

But I did weigh myself yesterday and came in at 107.4. Which I totally don't believe coz I had a SHOCKING weekend...had my bf's farewell as he finished up at his job and ended up drinking a lot of bourbon! I saved up most of my days calories, easy since i sleep so late on weekends, and only had an entree sized meal of salt n pepper squid n salad, however I still am not believing my scales.

I'll weigh in tomorrow morning and post that result...i feel it might be a wee bit more accurate!!!

Small loss this week, reasonably happy. No proper exercising though so no real effort to achieving my 5km run goal but have left the car at home on a couple of trips out with the littley.

Well done everyone, anyone got any incentives lined up for the end of the 12 weeks if they hit target? I'm trying to change my normal frame of mind from thinking of something like a take-out to a new haircut/gold class/massage type treat - less dreaming and more doing needed though first

Good luck this week!
Starting weight - 88.8kg/195.4lb
Target weight - 68/150lbs

12 week challenge - Target 80kg & 5km run
week 1 87.1/191.6 = -1.7kg/-3.8lb 2.5km run
week 2 86.8/191 = -2kg/4.4lb not enough exercise this week
week 3 watch this space!!!

I think if I reach my goal by the end of the 12 weeks I will reward myself by jumping up and down like a crazy person . I might also make my partner take me out for a nice dinner. Healthy and not a huge serving size but just something a little bit yummy :)

I don't weigh in til Thursday but by the general bagginess of my pants/underpants this morning, I'd say I've lost something!

UPDATE!

I weighed in at the doctors today....109.5. So the same as last week.

Which is fine, coz i was expecting that...i've been on the biggest sugar binge for the past few days, combined with my alcoholic binge on saturday night.

BUT...in saying that, she informed me that early last year i weighed in at 120...i didn't remember that! I was like r u sure!?!?! So i'm pretty happy that i managed to lose weight without trying!

Major mission for the week is to avoid the sugar!!!

Hi all

Not my official weigh in day but I got on the scales this morning and they read 107.6 so that isnt too bad. A loss of 300gm since Sunday's weigh in.
I have been really pre-occupied with personal stuff this week so have not been vigilant in recording my food, my water intake is down and my exercise has been zilch for the past three days (it has been stifling hot here in Melbourne - pathetic excuse but an excuse nonetheless...) My food has been pretty good except I had a none-low gi bread roll on Monday (no other options available).

Oh well, slowly and surely...

I read somewhere recently that it takes three weeks to change a habit and replace it with a better one. I am hoping that's true!!!!

All the best to my fellow 12-weekers :)

Hi, I am late checking in, my phone line at home went down for 5 days so I only had the internet on my phone - which was way too slow!
I weighed in on Monday and only lost 200gms this week - I had a slack week with hardly any exercise and a few 'bad' foods, so I am just happy I didn't gain!
Decided to up the ante this week and went to my first ever gym class this morning! It went for an hour and was a cardio class, I swear I almost passed out on a few occassions! But - I did it, and I am off again tomorrow for a one hour yoga class :)
Been good eating wise (except for yesterday, I had a KFC burger!), so hopefully another loss this week!

W1 - 70.4kgs
W2 - 68.5kgs
W3 - 68.3kgs

W3 - 105.0 kg. Lost the kilo i put on in wk2....

Hm... this is annoying... plus i am travelling this week for 3 days for work... so... will need to be extra good.

I had two days where i wimped out on the zero carbs (mainly just avoiding pasta/rice/bread/etc.) and had pasta for dinner... one was a pretty small serving, the other i was in a blood crazy hunger induced mode after doing weights for an hr.... so err... was probably larger than i should have had proportion wise.

I also haven't been sleeping well... :(

I did the following this week:
4 x weights days: all muscle groups each day, 2 x 15 reps of the heaviest weight i can do for each exercise
walked 12 km sunday
played squash for 2 hrs saturday
did my boxing / cyclic thing twice for 30 mins total cardio twice.

I think my big problem is i don't get home from work till ~7pm, so i exercise from about 7.30 to about 8.30 usually. Which then means i struggle to get to sleep before midnight.
