I am really excited about this challenge :D I think its going to go really well.

Hi all
Day 2 and pumped!
Need to stay strong in this challenge. My 10kg goal is a biggy for me.
Must have FAITH in myself (thanks Lexi for that inspiring signature!)

Did water aerobics last nite & boot camp today.
Plan 2 more sessions for this week. Using My Fitness Pal (like calorie king) to track what I eat.
Will check in Saturday with my results. Doing my best!

I'm so excited about this challenge!!! Hoping to get past my last lowest weight before I gained weight again which is 84.5kg down from 89.9kg, I hope this is achievable!!! What does everyone think!? I'm so excited to see how everyone goes too, all the best! Let's do this thing!!!

Totally achievable ganymede!
They say to always estimate a loss of about 800g per week, that way if you lose more its a bonus and if you don't lose as much it still works out. So your goal is totally achievable and I reckon you can do it! :D

Ok, didn't have the best start :\

I came down with the flu over the weekend and went to stay at my boyfriend's house on Monday, just got home this afternoon (he lives 160km away). So I've been holed up with too much toast and chocolate and lazing around in bed! But I went for a walk when I got home, had a dinner of super lean steak and I've had 2L of water today, so I'm back on track. Hopefully the scales don't show too much damage on Friday!

I hope everyone is doing great this week :D

My first week and i feel great about it so far :P

this week has been busy with school runs and my 2 babies like normal. but the good thing is im eating less of the wrong, and iv been eating lots more vegs and fruits lean meats and im also drinking lots of water about 2.5l and doing a half hour of brisk walking (even when i dont want to :oops: ) i cant wait till i can turn my walk into a jog :lol:

My start weight was 70kg
My goal weight is 50kg

I cant wait till weigh in day to see how i have gone this week, iv been trying to control myself and not get on the scales to early :lol:

trying to keep my mind positive.

Last night I had three bourbon and lemonades and shared a small bowl potato gems :( But, other than that, I've been working out twice a day and eating 5-6 small healthy meals. :)

Hi all
Great to log in and see how everyone is going, very motivating!!

I've had an up and down week so I have joined calorie king to make myself keep track every day, I've filled out my whole day today and it says that I will consume 1108 calories... Can someone who has successfully used calorie king to help them tell me if sounds like a good amount of calories for weight loss, I would love to hear

Well I cheated nd got on the scales early, and it motivated me so much!
My partner is sick and I think I might be coming down with it too, but the second he got sick I went into total damage control!
So I've pumped up the vitamins, I'm drinking a lot of water and I'm aking sure my body has a little extra energy to fight off the sickness as quickly as I can :)

Still exercising though :D Want to go for a walk but really not sure if I should go outside :S (10*C here)

Slightly OT, but last challenge I managed to make changes to my lifestyle that've stuck with me now for 4 months. Now i'm thinking about changes for this challenge...

Anyone had any experience with those Nike+ shoes + GPS thing to track your running/jogging?

I like jogging (I wouldn't call it running yet), but I get bored of doing the same route, but have tended to stick to a route because I "knew" how far it was... however with the Nike+ setup it you don't even have to record your activites, just plug the damned thing in. Whereas at the moment I have a whiteboard calendar in my kitchen which I plot down when I've done X km's or X minutes of workout or X weight sessions in a week.

So I was thinking this kind of adds an additional motivational level... plus my trainers are completely worn out from squash so need to buy some new ones... hm... though I guess just getting a pedometer for $20 would be a cheaper solution that achieves the same result except that you just have to keep a journal and write down in it what you've done...

What does everyone else do to track their weekly exercises so that you can compare each week and know how many km's you are off achieving your target for that week?

Hey everyone!

I weighed in this morning with a loss of 200g - I'm a bit disappointed but I was pretty naughty at the beginning of the week so I can't be too upset. I just went for an 8km walk as well, so I'm feeling good for the coming week. I really want to lose 2kg this week so that I'm under 100kg by next weekend. Lots of exercise and water will hopefully do the trick!

Yogibear, I use the Run Keeper app on my iPhone to track my walks. It's really great because it gives you graphs of your progress, lets you know when you've broken records and you can set it up to prompt you if you slow down etc. My friend has the Nike shoes and she really likes them - the only thing she doesn't like is that it measures pace (minutes per kilometre) instead of speed (kilometres per hour). You might be able to change it but she hasn't figured out how yet. Either way, I think it's well worth the money - I'm always trying to beat my own records and I love being able to see concrete evidence of how much fitter I'm getting.
