Got home from work today at 6.30pm, made dinner, then washed up. 7.30pm. Chatted to my mum and dad on the phone. Organised buying a car on wednesday night. Then jumped into my joggers and went for a run at 9pm under the moonlight through the suburbs and around a massive park and back again. Was about 5km. Died with the last km left and had to walk it. Oh well. Now to get up at 6am for work tomorrow. Now i'm home and had a shower and died on the couch again. Yah for trying to get fitter.

Great job JP and yogi, awesome losses!! I'm planning on weighing in on Thursday/Friday due to TTOM, although I'll probably get too curious and jump on tomorrow :P Will update later

Of course I got too curious and jumped on the scales this morning. Down to 85.55kg, a loss of 1.35kg! :) 1kg away from my May goal with 13 days to go! :D

I'm doing honours this year - agreed, it's mental! Just revving up for the final push of semester, I've got assignments and exams and this freakin' scary thesis looming in the background... I'll be glad when October comes around! What are you studying?

Challenge wise, I didn't do too badly on the weekend with the boy. A few naughty things, but mostly ok and much better than usual :D Monday and yesterday I was in a bit of a funk, didn't exercise and my eating was a bit suss (calories wise, it was fine but it wasn't healthy eating) but I'm feeling much brighter this morning! I'm about to go for a nice big walk with the pup then head off to uni and hit the books.

Well done to everyone who had those awesome losses :)

Is it just me or is this the time when the motivation starts to do a runner??

Don't get me wrong - i'm still tracking and doing the workouts (which has been is my goal this week) but i feel alittle unmotivated.....

How do I keep the "i can do it" attitude?

I would suggest that you choose whichever set of scales you like from the 2 but then make sure that you weigh in on the same scales everytime to ensure consistency! Goodluck!

Oz - starting to feel a bit the same over here!! I have to keep going back to my weekly to remind myself that I am losing weight  not sure how to keep that frame of mind - it was so beautifully easy in the first few weeks  - personally atm I am gunning for that last 500grams so I can hit 70 flat (actually, 600gs would be spiffing - I would love to see a number that started with a 6!!!!) and then I have plans to treat myself to my first mini reward :D ... past the whole generic goal setting thing... dunno - I was thinking about trying a new set of meal plans or diet tactic in a little while just to have a change of scenery - perhaps something similar may help keep the game entertaining?? dont know :?:

best of luck - have seen you having big losses in the first 2wks of the challenge - you are doing awesome!!

Thanks bjam :D I am over the moon with the weightloss so far but its nice to hear it from someone else!!

When it comes to motivation or so I say lack of, i am the queen! But i have promised my self that it would be different this time. I decided to do a kick ass Zumba workout tonight and I have to be honest - i felt great. If only I could bottle that feeling!!

I completely agree about the rewards. I think i will try to make mine something that will re energise my weightloss journey and keep it fresh - thanks for the tip!

I've noticed your losses too so well done and keep at it!! And yes, i know all about that stubborn number 6!! I cant wait to see it on the scales!!

Look forward to hearing from you when you hit that magic number - you're doing so well you'll get there in no time :D

Bought myself a new pair of runners as decided the old pair had had it completely and were not doing me any good. Did a quick jog around the block in them to stretch them out. Hoping my shins feel loose again tomorrow (been a bit sore since exercising Monday & Tuesday). Then went car hunting after work so didn't get home till 9pm again. :(

Oh well. At least I'm eating healthy and still doing weights. Need to get at least 2 more cardio in this week I reckon if I want to pencil in a solid kilo loss.
