Postby hushpuppy » Wed Feb 15, 2006 8:33 pm

Today i took the plunge and had my haircut . Not a biggy but i have had long hair for prob 8 years or more . it is not short and layered ( as i have wavy hair . Who could have thought long hair could weigh so much lol it was mid way down my back . I now feel so light headed it feels like i have no hair
When i get some pics down i might (if i have the guts) put them on here to show u what a mean lol
Cheers Jules

I still cling to my long hair, it reaches to my armpits in length.
Well done on the new summery change of hairstyle.

I love that light headed feeling after a haircut. I always forget the first few times i wash my hair after a drastic cut to cut down on the amount of shampoo and conditioner.....Very soapy

After loosing close to 40 kg I decided a couple of weeks ago to get rid of my long hair.It was waist length and I have just had it cut to shoulder length with lots of layers. It looks unreal and I feel so liberated and free.

Gosh that sounds so corny I know but its true.I have always had long hair and I was always complimented on it but its just so restrictive and there is only so much I could do with it.Yes there is nothing like a new hairstyle for a fresh change.

I totally agree. I dont know why i didnt do it sooner . It takes 5 mins to do after a shower where as with my long hair because it is wavy it had to be all tied back or half and half or spend 30 mins on it the get the curl to behave before going out . I washed it this morn and thought oh way to much shampoo lol i will save money to lol

Good on you Jules, it takes a lot of guts when you've got long hair.

My hair is half way down my back. I been thinking about doing the exact same thing but just can't quite bring myself to do, perhaps when I lose all this weight - it can be the new me!

Did the scales change much after your hair cut - LOL
