What food plan are you on at the moment? The Healthy Eating Plan
What can we do to help you on your journey? You're already doing it
What advice can you give someone else on the journey? Good things don't happen overnight
What was your "wake up call" that led you to get serious about weight loss? I'm 23 and have high blood pressure. Plus I am sick to death of having all these clothes in my wardrobe I don't fit in to

What do you like best about yourself? my feet (I know - strange - but you can't tell Im fat by looking at my feet. LOL
State one goal that you will strive for: to ENJOY the journey that I have started and not think of it as a chore

What do you like best about yourself? My sense of humour and devotion to kids and husband!!

Do you have a pedometer/stepometer: yes, in the form of nike+ipod but I only use it while jogging
How long since you were last slim: never
What food plan are you on at the moment? just trying to watch what I eat and have a general idea of the calorie range I'm in for the day. ALso, high protein and moderate carbs and also 5 or 6 small meals a day.
What can we do to help you on your journey? Just reading everyone's progress is helpful.
What advice can you give someone else on the journey? Stick to it, it takes a while before good habits set in. It took me ages!
What was your "wake up call" that led you to get serious about weight loss? having chronic back problems to the point where my husband had to do everything (take me to the toilet, help me in the shower) all this while my daughter was only a few weeks old and I couldn't even look after her.
What do you like best about yourself? nothing at the moment, will tell you in a few months

What can we do to help you on your journey? Inspire and keep me motivated
What advice can you give someone else on the journey? Never let go of the end goal but have goals all along the way. Keep reminding yourself why you want to do this and how you want to feel. Turn your negatives into positives, thinking about bad experiences makes you realise that you don't want to feel that way again.
What was your "wake up call" that led you to get serious about weight loss? I wanted to lose weight for my daughter's wedding. I was also feeling bad physically, like my body couldnt handle the weight anymore.

What do you like best about yourself? Hmm, my sense of humour

How long since you were last slim:When I worked at a nightclub and drank more than I ate! (about 7 years ago). Before that short period, not since I was about 10

What food plan are you on at the moment? just eating healthy and excercising
What can we do to help you on your journey? read my boring posts and respond!
What advice can you give someone else on the journey? get a support network and stick with it, even in the bad times. Form new habits and keep them as habits so you don't even have to think about them
What was your "wake up call" that led you to get serious about weight loss? Cholesterol of 9!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (should be about 2.5)

What do you like best about yourself? I'm nice, and I'm smart, and i care

To be thin and confident, and wear damn good clothes! Then become a Psychologist and help other people through this (am studying now)

she is further away than the Gold Coast lol - to get to her place, I am looking at a 6 hour drive - to go to the GC from here is 2 1/2 hours - we are really NORTHERN NSW lol
