Hey Kate - not sure if it will work, but my mum gave me the tip of using Nifti for stain removal on clothes and it works a treat and since then I use it on just about everything! But I haven't tried it on the lounge or carpet - but I'd advise trying it on the underside first to make sure it doesn't bleach or do something funny to the colour.
Just keep moving! And don't be lazy...

I had a really grotty stain on our bedroom carpet, but I used the Carpet Power cleaner (from the makers of shower power) and yes it does actually work...just dont use too much of it...otherwise you will be on your hands and knees with a buckets of fresh water!! LOL. It does work though and has a really lovely lavendar fragrance.

Hey Kate,
Not sure if you have brought anything for this yet. But i brought a product called "StainGo" it's a 200ml bottle and works a treat. My sister spilt white paint in my car and this stuff cleaned it up. If it didn't it may of had to try and clean up my sister blood. I was ready to kill her!! Cleaned up red cordial and all sorts of stains. When i first brought it i loved it so much i walked around the whole house looking for stains to clean. I was like a kid with a new toy it was fun and amazing how well it worked.

For a gas oven I just use an oven/multipurpose cleaner and good old elbow grease :)
