Hi Kate

Hubby and I bought a Sunbeam Cafe Series Blender - it is soooo nice and sooo powerful. It was $200 so the higher end of the scale but fabulous if you blend often :) It has a dial at the front rather than buttons - it's Modern with a capital M!

Fee :D

Hi Kate, I have a Breville Optiva. I got it for about $85 I think at the time, I've had it for about 2 years now. It has a glass jug and just one button where you can flip it to pulse, and lo speed and hi speed. It's also got a 700watt motor so its really good for crushing ice :D

It really depends on how much you want to spend and how often you'll be using it too. If you'll be using it every day then its worth investing in something that's going to last you a fair while, especially when it comes to the motor.
I cracked the 90kg mark for the first time in two years, I'm happy!!

I just looked at that and went oooooh nice strawberries

It looks okay - though the part that holds the smoothie looks small but it depends on how much you're going to juice.

I've heard those bullet things are awesome, Kate! Have a look in Priceline. I'm not sure if that's the one I saw but if it wasn't it was exactly the same!!!

I have both. I friend got me a magic bullet blender brand new off a pallet at an auction for $20. They are awsome Big W seel a replica for $50. They sell really quickely, but they always come in. The bullet good because they come with a juicer & you can heat them very multi task so many option's you can do at the same time. But I find some thing you need a bigger blender.

Blender I have a brevill blend master it a glass jug & 6 cross blades excellent for crushing ice for making cocktails. I've had it for 3 years & use it all the time.

ooh ooh I didnt see this post! :D I have a bullet- esque blender LOL (code for cheapo brand version) That I bought from Aldi, Identical to the regular one and includes a blender/juicer, cups, book etc, everything the 'real' one has and it cost me $40! I use it every single day, and its fab. really good quality.... I bought this one the same time as mum bought hers from the shopping channel for $200 and they are exactly the same, she's really pissed off actually cos hers cost so much more.... so yeah, have a look at Aldi, they're fab! :D

The milkshake maker dosen't seem to work to well with dicing fruit. Your better off buying a bullet or blender.
