Water - its meant to be part of a healthy lifestyle, right?

ok, here is my story.

We moved into a duplex about 1.5yrs ago.

It had been built just before we moved in, the whole complex had, so we were the first tenants.

Since living there, we have noticed that the water smells horrible sometimes, and that it tastes a bit metallic or ferral sometimes. Also, it is making our taps and sinks grimey.

Does this sound healthy to you? I cant even drink my bottle of water today as its making me feel sick.

I wonder if our water is contaminated. How do i find out?

Is this normal?

water in various places is gross. Torquay (sp?) in Vic is notoriously bad. I have been meaning to buy a purifier for my new house cause the water there is iffy and I don't like the taste. In the mean time I drink soda water at home and water water at work and uni

Would a water filter help? You can get the jug type ones quite cheaply in supermarkets etc...

Don't drink the water if it's making you sick. Might need to lash out and get some bottled stuff :?
