i hate it! i mean i dunno anyone who loves it, unless they are happy they havent reached menopause or they are happy they ain't pregnant.

I hate the painful cramps that accompany such a 'fun' time!

I took some tablets but they are taking their sweet time in working.

:( What do you girls do to soften the pain? if you have bad cramps.

Oh do I know about this.................

my last TTOM lasted 5 weeks. It was sooooo fun!!

I take Nurofen, use a hot water bottle. My hubby rubs my back.

Ponstan helps too. Warm shower.

Pouting... I did alot of that!! Not sure if it helped, but I felt better!!

Naproxen seems to work for me. I mean it doesn't seem to take away the general feeling of discomfort, but it takes the pain away for me.

Thats when i love being on the pill. When I'm not on it i end up with really bad cramps and heavy bleeding. I just finished mine and i didn't have much in the way of cramps and it was just easy. no heavy bleeding and it finished on time.
But then when I'm on the pill it makes my migraines worse. But i think i would rather put up with the pill and reap the rewards at ttotm. A hot bath is always good or hot water bottle. Hope they settle down soon :(

Im on the pill so its not really a big deal for me. I trycyle, so I get it every 9 weeks or so.

Its not dangerous to do this. Its just not necerssary to have your period when your on the pill. Its not even a period, its called a 'withdrawl' bleed.

I havent ever really had cramps. I skipped my period for like 6 months and when I got it it was horrible and painful and bled forever - so dont do that!

If anyone gets bad period pain you should go on the pill! It should only be a mild discomfort, the pill can make it loads better.

I used to get really bad pains. I used to take Naprogesic which dulled the pain. Apart from that, yelling, screaming, crying, and eventually sleeping

I haven't had a period in so long though. Last one was March this year, and before that, August last year :?

ugh yeah ttom has just arrived for me this afternoon :( fun! haha I get pretty painful cramps and migraines during :(
I usually have a bath in the evening, take some panadol, and I use a water bottle on my belly when I need it...gentle walking is good too surprisingly.

I must be one of the lucky few who doesn't suffer too badly. I suffer emotionally before it, get bloated and have sore breasts, have a dull ache the first day I get it, but that's about it. I do however over dramatise it for a bit of sympathy at home ;) Shhh! Don't tell my hubby!!!

I am not on the pill etc. and never noticed much difference for me between being on the pill and not being on the pill - my period was just a day or so shorter when I was on the pill.
Just keep moving! And don't be lazy...
