I've experienced both and it actually feels kind of weird when neither has hair, but thats just me. And the regrowth for guys can be a little uncomfortable!!

That was funny Kate I remember that...

I hate hair on a man I think it's a real turn off, lucky for me hubby cant grow hair much only a little bit of facial hair but never enough to ever grow a beard or a mo.

Playboy_Bunny don't be embarrassed. The first time I got mine done I was really embarrassed but it’s not like they stare and whisper and the beauty therapist talks you through it the first time.

It does hurt the first time but the more you get it done the better it gets (the pain doesn't go away it just lessons) and the regrowth is finer too.

IMO I prefer a brazilian because you feel much more cleaner and it feels better in other respects too

Definitely go to a beautician though don't attempt DIY. I've tried the Nad's one its messy and hard to do it yourself.

Oooh, holy crap I've just booked my first Brazilian for tomorrow morning!

I'm now really scared

And I need an important question answered - do I leave a strip or not?

I couldn't get into the place I was recommended (BornNaked74 in Subiaco) so I'm going to a place another girl recommended me - Revive Day Spa in Mt Hawthorn.. they are expensive so they better be good! I will tell you all about it after...

leave a strip
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).
Back to the drawing board - Let's do this thing!

I tried the hair removal cream once, just on the bikini line, and it left a horrible rash :( I don't think I could go the waxing, because I have been shaving for so many years, the hairs are so coarse and thick! I think you'd need cement, not wax, to get them out!

Good luck with your waxing Mandie. Very brave :D

yeah i've tried creams and im allergic to most of them i think because i always get a rash!

yeah, sarah, im scared! but i get my legs waxed all the time (have done for years) and normal bikini line waxing.. so its not that much of a larger jump i guess!?

10am tomorrow i will be packing it though!
