I never have actually walked into the store because I dont have one near me, but I have walked passed one I think years ago. They stock some really nice clothing I think a friend of mine buy's her clothes from there all the time.

This is a really late reply, but I just wanted to say that I love City Chic.

I currently weigh 103.8kg and I can ALWAYS find jeans in CC that fit me, and fit me well. I've also bought several funky tops from there for going out (because, lets face it, most plus size clothing makes you look bland or like a nanna) and two party dresses. My nearest CC is a 7 hour round trip in the car from where I live, and I make the drive at least once a year.

Also, I bought a pair of jeans from there that needed to be taken up - took me several months to get them adjusted and when I did, every time I wore them the zipper fell down. I emailed CC Customer Care and explained my predicament and that I didn't have a receipt anymore, they had me post the garment to them and upon inspecting it they offered me a $80 gift voucher for their store so I could replace the jeans - great customer service!

Overall, I give City Chic a thumbs up.

They do mail order now so BB you dont have to do the 7 hour round trip. You can also pick up some bargains on ebay.
Need to get motivated.

I really really love this store but its not cheap.

They say they stock sizes 14+ but im a size 18 and the extra small fits me, if not a little roomy! it sure is the only store I can buy size extra small!!

I got a dress recently and heaps of stock was marked way down. The dress was originally $146 or something like that and I got it for $40!!!!

Worth having a look :)
