New hairstyle.

Postby Shalimar » Sat Oct 11, 2008 6:22 pm

Hi ladies, just wondering if any of you know of a website that has different hairstyles on it?
I have booked into the hairdressers on the 19th of next month and I want a complete change as I haven't had my hair cut professionally for years (and years) .
I have been googling but haven't had much luck as yet.
Help, please  .

Thanks ladies :D , you're right Wendy that style is nice only problem is I don't have time to blow dry but that is similar to what I am looking at.
I have found some piccies and I'll get hubby to print them off before I go to the hairdressers. I will also post before and after pics.
The length in that pic you posted is about the length I want to go. I have had long hair for around 20 years and I just want a real change  .
Thanks again girls.
Take care, Sue.

Shalimar, do you have a GHD? If you don't have time to blow dry you can use your GHD for quicker styling. It won't give as much body as a blowdry, but you can straighten the roots for a bit of body, and flick your layers different directions to get the style happening. I only suggest a GHD because they heat up so quick, and mine is my best buddy. I use it everyday.

I'd have to agree about the GHD, I have had 3 other brands ranging from $50 - $260 and none of them work as well as my GHD does. It's amazing how straight my hair gets with it!

Ok, I didn't realise a GHD was a hair straightener  . I will check them out next time I'm near hairhouse warehouse or similar.

I have a Silver Bullet and I like it better than the GHD. Its all about what suits you best. I couldnt pay $300 for a hair straightner so I got the silver bullet about $200 and its better I think. I have had a hairdresser use both and I still prefer the bullet. The GHDs do come in pretty colours though.

I am yet to get to somewhere that sells them but when I do I'll be sure to have a good nosy. On a side note I'm having a cut again next Wednesday, it has gone so quickly. I think I might bite the bullet and go shorter again, not too short though because I still want to use my straightener.
