Back acne...so gross:(

Postby Jane85 » Mon Nov 10, 2008 9:01 pm

Hey everyone,

This is so horrible, but I I was wondering if any of you get something similar and what you can do about it. Over the last few months my back only around where the sportsbra strap covers has become covered in really big sore pimples. I shower straight after excercising and wash my clothes but its not going away.

Just wondiering if there are any washes or creams that any of you guys would reccomend?

Thanks

Jane

I'm using an Avon 'Clearskin' body wash at the moment, which seems to be alright, but I don't find anything works completely...thought my 'bacne' has dissapated somewhat over the past couple of years. I'm bloody sick of acne, I'm 25, gaaaahhhh! :x

Tell me about it, I'm 31 and still get them occasionally. My sister's 28 and is seeing a skin specialist it's so bad. My mum is in her late 50's and still gets acne!

Thanks for the Avon tip, I will have to investigate that. There used to be quite a few brands of body washes in the supermarket and chemist, but they're slowly disappearing. I think I just bought the last bottle of Clearasil body wash in existance :(

I spoke to the chemist when I started exercising because my face was covered and he told me to wash my face with qv wash, before excercising to get rid of all the dirt and oil before your pores open so theres nothing to clog them up...that works well for my face, but showering before and after excercise would be a pain :P

My friends has this problem and has recently started washing his back with a solution of water, and sea salt, and sitting in the sun while it dries. His own idea and apparently it has been helping. He said the beach always helps his skin so he is trying to re create that effect in the back yard!

I swear by L'OREAL Paris Pure Zone Deep Purifying Gel Wash. Since I started using it I haven't had one single pimple. :)

I had really bad pimples on my forehead just 2 weeks ago (i'm 32!!) and as well as drinking a truck load more water, I've been using Natio stuff - wash my face twice a day and use the toner twice a day....it's bloody brilliant!

I think QV do a body wash....there are quite a few 'anti-bacterial' body washes....i'd try them.

Dont stop exercising though!!!

i'm with you there jane... since getting wiifit i just can't stop... just ask ally! she tried speaking to my 3 or 4 times tonight and i'm like NUP! on wiifit!! lol

As for pimples, 'clearskin2' from avon worked for me... mums an avon rep so i gave it a go. and while it stung as all hell when i put it on, i found it worked great. I'm not pimpless, but i think that may also be down to the drastic lifestyle change also. But either way, i'd reccommend it. Good luck!

I hardly ever had pimples when I was a teenager but I am in my 30's and get them all the time now!! GRRRRRR

I use Clinique products on my face and they work, but I get pimples on my chest and neck which I hate! I have tried lots of things but nothing really helps...
