Found these in a mag. Hope they help.

Bootleg or wide leg pants
A-line or fluted skirts
Dark colours on the lower half
Longer line jackets

A-line dresses
Tops that sit below the waist
Darker colours on the bottom half (no white!)

Trousers with a wide waistband
Wrap-around or low-waisted tops
Low-slung jeans
Big belts

Heels - the higher the better
Trousers or jeans that fall to the bottom of the heel

A-line skirts that flare at the waist
Fitted tops
Sexy heels

Personally, I've found 3/4 length pants make me look short, stumpy and fatter than I am (may differ for those over 160cm), anything that stops at my waist makes my butt look twice as big and baggy clothes top and bottom make you look bigger than you are.

I also read that good posture will make you appear slimmer - I'm walking around with a book on my head from now on!

clothing tips

One should wear cothes which suit their personality and stature rather than go with the trend. A fat person should go in for darker shades as this acts as a camouflage for his obesity whereas he should go for clothing which have vertical stripes as this also makes him look slim and tall. For slim people anything would look good. These are the simple and basic tips for dressing up :)
