Dropping dress sizes

Postby Butterfly_Dawn » Sun May 07, 2006 1:29 pm

I can't believe I am on the borderline of a size 12!!!! I'm stretching to remember having been a size 14 as I've been over size 16 for so long!! It's kinda amazing to think that not long ago I was 3-4 sizes larger than I am now.

I love going shopping now and for one, I put clothes back on the rack as I couldn't decide which pair to buy because they all looked good, but I didn't have enough money to get all of them!

15kg gained again (as at October 2010).

Well done Teagan. Feels great doesnt it!!! I love being a size 12 except i hate being broke so i can only buy for special occasions and use pins for the rest of the time. I just love seeing peoples faces when you walk into a party or something and you know everyone is looking at you cause you look good not because you are chubby :D Keep up the good work

YAHOO!

Well done, Tegan. I'm sooo happy for you. Dropping the dress sizes makes all the exercise and dieting worth it, doesn't it!

You've done so well, I was looking at the hall of fame post and noticed you're in it about 2 or 3 times WOW!

HUGS

That's great and what a good feeling.

I've just gone to a 14 and started this as an 18 tipping to 20 so I am really happy with that. I even got back into my wedding dress!! Which means I had too much weight on when I got married :?

That is fantastic well done! I can't wait to be a size 12...

My best moments are when you try on something then realise its TOO BIG and you have to ask the assistant for a smaller one! Isn't it awesome? What great motivation!

is it really a size 12?

Postby fiona » Mon Sep 25, 2006 9:32 pm

I started at 86.5ks. looking at a size 18 was not a happy prospect i can assure you. my self esteem was in the toilet and life was generally depressing. One day, i decided "thats it, thats enough".
I put myself on a healthy eating program, and stayed away from all temptations like chocolate. i lost 12 kilos, yipee. Started on the Tony Ferguson diet and lost another 8. can't always afford to get the shakes though, so am trying to eat healthy and exercise more often. my kids say i look great and my husband is giving me compliments again!!! Another 5 kilos should do me nicely i think. :D

That sounds great Fiona.
I'm doing the TF program and am not really impressed that the diet shakes have recently had a steep price hike.
