Amazing loss for a great goal

Postby benedicte » Tue Dec 02, 2008 10:47 am

Hi,

As I said in a previous message, I found very fantastic when people are very self motivated and success in reaching their own goal to feel better. I was reading news this morning online and found that story about a 18y guy who decided to loss on weight to be nice and ready for his formal.

That is an amazing story : Joseph's happy to be a shadow of his old self

What is absolutely nice is that thanks to his will his parents started the diet with him and it benefits everybody in the family.

Congratulation to him!

I wish I could have the same volontee even if I just have to loose few kg!

Yeah that's nice.

I found really good that even his family did the diet with him.

When I was with my ex-boyfriend I put on weight and wanted him to help me by going with to the gym (as he needed it as well) and he never wanted to come with me!!

Good for him, nice story

Congratulations! Keep it up! Weight loss, in the context of medicine or health or physical fitness, is a reduction of the total body weight, due to a mean loss of fluid, body fat or adipose tissue and/or lean mass, namely bone mineral deposits, muscle, tendon and other connective tissue. It can occur unintentionally due to an underlying disease or can arise from a conscious effort to improve an overweight or obese state.
