Iâ€™m a new member here and over the last week I have been reading your threads and feel that you provide the right environment and support here for those in need.
I am so impressed that I have made this my home page.
A bit about me:
I'm 36 male married with 2 children (5, 3), I live in North Rocks in Sydney and Iâ€™m fat and very very unhealthy.
I love to eat & I hate exercise.
I have tried dieting before but the food temptation has just been too great.
This time (lol) is the last time.
I started this diet 7 days ago and at this stage I have not yet gotten serious, I am eating healthier and I have lost 6kg but I have not yet got a plan or a goal.
I thing that having a plan and a goal are essential if I am not to fail.
Tonight I went through some old photos, I came across 2 which I removed from the album that I will use as motivation, the photos where taken in February 1997 a week before my wedding.
So tonight I set 2 goals:
1st) my sister is getting married in November this year, my goal is to get under 100kg
2nd) My tenth wedding anniversary is in February next year, my goal is to get to the same weight I was when I was married and to put on the shirt I had on in that photo.
This week coming I plan to do my plan, outlining a schedule for exercise and diet.
This is going to be a tough experience, but I really have no choice.
