so many failed diets

Postby grugwashere » Thu Aug 10, 2006 9:17 pm

i have put myself on so many different diets and i think the longest i have ever lasted is a week... i have nmever felt so confident about a diet as i have this time, and i think this is because of the forum... it makes me feel so good to come on and see encouragements....i feel as though this diet may actaully be possible... as a 17 year old girl diets are hard(well for anyone really) but in terms of the embarrassment that my weight gives me in school situations, we used to get weighed in PE and i always weighed the most... just want to say thanks to all the wonderful ppl here u are truly amazing

I think it helps having people to talk to who are going through or have been through similar things to you. You don't feel so out on your own.

Hey Joan,

I felt the same as you when I was 17...If you can conquer this now it will hold you in good stead for the future...go for it!

When I was in high school I refused point blank to record my weight on the class chart for everyone to see.
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).
Back to the drawing board - Let's do this thing!

Are you a registered Member of Ebay?
Check out a book called "Stop Dieting and lose weight", by a lady called Di Harris. I bought it sometime ago, and it's well worth a read. It only cost me a couple of bucks off ebay.
