Good news my computer is coming back today, all fixed and I have not lost any info on it, oh I have missed it  , but its make you rethink your life on Sunday I got up cleaned the wardrobe out, caught up on my ironing and made quiche and salad for lunch  but I love my PC its my escape time, I probably do spend too much time on there but I do learn lots of stuff I am teaching myself how to use lots of Digital Imaging programs at the moment, so I don't consider it a complete waste of time

I had a good day yesterday and I was very pleased with myself, today I have an early shift and then Andy and I are going to the show weather permitting

Congratulations to Dolly who is joining me as a moderator well deserved Dolly you are an inspiration to us all

I have been enjoying going for walks this week. It must be my favourite time of year - I love the magnolias and the cherry blossoms and they're all in full bloom. We live in an older neighbourhood so just about every house has a magnolia tree (except for us - our beautiful big magnolia had to be cut down because it was interfering with the sewerage and our portwine magnolia has had a lifetime of 'interesting' pruning so it's kind of weedy and feral looking) and the cherry trees line the street so the neighbourhood is just full of beautiful pink blossom. It's a shame they don't last. But soon the summer bulbs will be out and then the roses. We have a lot of older people in the street (it's kind of like a retirement village) and they all have beautiful gardens. It would be really nice if we could grow trees like frangipannis and the african tulip tree (I think that's what it's called) that grow North of Sydney. If the weather keeps being so nice I might try to get in the garden this weekend and see if we can get it moving.

Have had another sleep in this morning and then had raisin toast for brekky. Have a good day all and I hope you enjoy the show Pam.

Thanks Pam!
Fantastic that you're self teaching yourself to learn about Digital Imaging programs, I'm impressed. Have fun at the show.

Fairie, your meals sound so healthy I'm feeling guilty.
After getting back from the allergy specialist, and confirming I have an intollerance to chemical and tobacco smoke smells but no allergies! (so the cat can now move back into my bedroom.) I went out to celebrate by having a coffee with my husband. He took me to the Dome cafe' and we each had a huge florentine cookie (that was my breakfast)

Lunch
was a small serving of left over noodles from last night.

Serena, I wish we were having nice sunny weather too. Yesterday a couple of tornado's came through some northern suburbs and today we have more wind and rain, I don't think I should risk going out there, brrrrrr...

Your street sounds beautiful Serena, we are surrounded mainly by the yellow wattles and pines. They give me such shocking hayfever.

I hope we don't get the weather your having Dolly, I'm enjoying the spring days.

Has everyone been checking out the Jokes in the Lifestyle / Time To Relax section, they are funny.
