My weight loss success (finally)

Postby Heidie » Mon Sep 08, 2014 7:14 pm

My name is Heidie and this is my story.
After being morbidly obese my entire adullt life and losing both my parents very young to weight related issues I have finally found my solution, nutritional cleansing. Rather than counting calories I have started counting toxins I was putting into my body and weight is no longer an issue. I have never felt as happy and healthy as I do now and every day is better than the last.
Find me on facebook if you would like to know more.
Everyone deserves to live a happy life.
Yours awaits
Kindest regards

Congratulations on your success Heidie. You must feel wonderful now.
As one who too was morbidly obese I can appreciate what a difference it makes to your life. 8)

Can you give us the raw numbers?
I was 153.7kg when I started (1/1/'11). Lost 87kg (got to 66.6kg) in exactly 60 weeks.
And now maintain my weight at between 67kg - 70kg and have done so for two and a years now.

Some people count calories.
Others count pro points.
You counted toxins.
I counted nothing...except the numbers going down on my scales!

You may wish to check out my thread that I've just started in the Maintenance section.
I've got a few ideas up and have committed to putting up 101 thoughts on maintaining weight loss.
Remember that this journey is a two part process. Getting it off is the first part - keeping it off for life is the second part!

Wishing you a continued better future! :D

It seems as if a combination of eating less and eating healthier natural foods has worked well for Heidi.

Yeah...but I think that exercise had a lot to do with it as well.
Results like this doesn't just come from eating right.
Eating right stops the additional weight but it is exercise that basically removes that extra fat.

A recent science program did the maths. Apparently, a reporter had lost some weight and posed the interesting question...where did that weight go? The maths and science showed that the fat is converted with additional oxygen molecules (exercise is key here) and for every 10 kilos lost - 8.6kg is expelled out of the body as carbon monoxide and 1.4kg as water.

So when people ask me how I lost 87kg and I answered "one sweat drop at a time"...I was nearly right. Sweat - and a lot of heavy breathing!
