Morning everyone
I sat around yesterday asking myself 'why is this taking so long?' and getting rather frustrated at myself because this weight loss journey is taking a lot longer than expected but then I went over the past few months, looking at what I had actually managed to lose and I started to feel a little better...
I have managed to lose close to 12kg since the end of June so things can't be that bad. So what if I have small losses of under 500g a week... its better than a gain and I am slowly but surely getting closer to my goal.
But I do think I have hit my first plateau, so I am shaking things up a little.. well mainly with my eating. For this next week I am only going to have fruit for my breakfast, with a salad for lunch (maybe with ham or some chicken - I havent decided yet) and then for dinner I will continue with what I have generally been having (something out of my low fat, low kJ recipe books). I havent really been snacking of late, so that shouldnt be a problem.
I bought a pedometer the other day and tested it out this morning when I did my 2 mile dvd. I didnt think it would have been very accurate (cos it was only a cheapie) but it was pretty spot on. According the the pedometer I burned 1800 kJ on that walk, so I am happy with that... I plan on either doing my 2 mile dvd again this afternoon when Bub has a sleep or I might even give the 3 mile a go (I havent done that one before)
Hope everyone has a happy, healthy weekend
Emma
