Morning Girls

I am early bird today, I seem to have more energy in the early hours than in the evening

Yesterday was a great success we did not waver at all

I have my salad packed for lunch and will have brekky before I leave, probably some cereal, and we are going out for tea, meeting with some freinds passing through Adelaide, we are meeting them at Glenelg, so I will be careful what I eat and maybe a glass or two of wine

Have a good day everyone, and all the Aissies good luck in the Melbourne Cup

1 boiled egg
1 piece of wholemeal toast(no butter)
2 glasses of water


I think Mr celebrity (23) will win!

well, now that race thing is over......for another year, I am not a great fan i must admit, but it was pretty spectacular.

Toast (soy & linseed)
Irish stew 1/2 can
coffee

I have just finished work. I was only supposed to do 6 hours but ended up doing 7 hours as 4 full busloads of elderly Italians decided to stop in for lunch. Talk about stuffed. I ate my lunch on the way home as I didn't get a break and stopped off at the pool to do some laps (not very many laps - extremely unfit!). Now I think I might make myself a cuppa and spend the rest of the afternoon in the spa.

Brekky: Muesli with fruit and coffee

Lunch: Honey and marg on soy linseed bread
Orange

Dinner: Steak and veg (or salad - haven't quite decided)

Hi Guys

I know I have been complaining about the cold wet weather for weeks but it is 32 today and I'm about to collapse with heat exhaustion. :roll: Unfortunatley there is more work I have to do oustide than inside at the moment.

Spent the day and my daughters sports carnival .Now i am sunburnt :cry: but only face and neck

Each year my younger sister invites a dozen of us ladies over for a Melbourne Cup Luncheon, we all have a bit of a flutter on the horses. We each drew two horses names out of a hat.
This year I picked the horse that came in second and the horse that came in third whoohoo $$$ My other sister said she'd backed the winner Makybe Diva at her work place so there were a few hundred dollars waiting for her when she drove back after lunch.
Makybe Diva has now made racing history by being the only horse to win the Melbourne Cup 3 times.
The legendary horse Phar Lap ran in 3 Melbourne Cup races but only won in one of them.
