Breakfast - Special K, Skim Milk & an Orange
Lunch - Tuna & Avocado Salad
Dinner - Probably some type of meat and vegetables - didn't make my cut off for dinner which is 6pm so it will be a cup of tea for me tonight.
Snack - Fruit

Its really hard to have a variety of food at the moment because of the fact that I am not eating any '"WHITE STUFF" (ie: Potato, Bread, Rice & Pasta). (See Home Grown Tips) Plus with limited time it is hard to be creative although I do have time on the weekends which is something to look forward to. Doing this for six weeks has made me realise that I can survive without it and I don't feel like such a carbohydrate addict. I will start introducing small amounts of carbs next week. I am also going to try and eat whole meal or brown versions of everything except for potato of course!! I am still going to try and not eat any carbohydrates for dinner. I may set myself another challenge that will take me to Christmas and not eat any dairy. I am a sucker for cheese!!! I may cut out cheese, milk, eggs and yogurt it will hurt but I will give it a go. I have found that during the last 6 weeks I was eating alot of dairy because of the lack of carbs. I will try and get my calcium during this time from another source so if you have any ideas let me know!! At the end of my little challenges I have a day of celebration. On Saturday I have an outing where I am going to allow myself a few drinks to celebrate my NO WHITE STUFF SUCCESS. Crazy I know!! But it seems to be working for me because I am feeling better about myself.

Looks like everyone is doing really well so far.
If it's at all possible, could everyone sign off with their name or add their name above their ticker graph code.
I find I'm continually going back to introduction posts to find out who's making the post, thanks!

Lunch
a two egg mushroom omelette
I felt pretty hungry today so filled that space with 3 glasses of water and 2 cups of coffee. So glad I didn't use food to fill that gap.

No Dolly I am not doing good today at all. I am very tired and feel a bit run down today - probably overdoing the exercises I no doubt.

This morning for breakfast my OH and I had:

2 eggs scrambled - 2 mushrooms grilled and a tomato.

Lunch:
2 pieces of pide bread with low fat cheese spread

Dinner tonight will be:
Pink Ling (fish) and salad

I need a rest I think...

Maria, meal wise you're doing very well.
I hope you manage to get your energy levels up again.
Are you taking enough iron? I know if I've slacked off on taking my iron vitamin or if I'm not eating the ol' spinach enough I tend to feel like a couch potato for a few days.

Thanks Dolly - I eat a fair amount of green vegetables but of course my crohns disorder soon tells me when enough is enough in the tummy department. Today I really feel washed out - but have still pushed myself to my schedule of exercises - these exercises are quite gruelling I can tell ya! My friend called round last night and she could not believe the schedule I have given myself. I was putting in to a document as she was here - and of course I work too - so I guess I am just a misery today LOL

I'll be right by tomorrow...

Thanks for the encouragement Dolly, I needed that today.

Cheers

I'm afraid I'm pretty slack in the exercise department, I've seen how hard they work on the tv series The Biggest Loser but I just do a 20 minute walk 5 days per week and thats plenty for me.

I'm feeling a bit hungry today. I think I'll have to have another couple of drinks, to fill that gap.

Dinner tonight will be
steak and a huge greek salad.
