what do you want to wear...

Postby kate_turner2000 » Tue Jul 17, 2007 6:07 pm

when you reach your goal weight? what can you see yourself wearing when you reach your goal weight? i would really like to wear a nice summery dress. i dont own any dresses but i currently have legs and arms like baked hams and a pregnant looking tummy~! id be happy to also fit into all my new clothes that i brought at the start of the year more comfortably than i do now. i also have never been able to wear knee high boots so that would be something id like to be able to wear.

I have never had the pleasure EVER of walking into a shop and buying something even in a 16!! The lowest I have ever been was size 20 :o

 I would love to be able to wear a really nice fitting summer dress, sleeveless of course! ]

 skirts that don't look like a hippo is trying to get out of it

 tailored pants that doesn't look like my behind is still in them

 this probably sounds weird, but nice pyjamas!!

 I am also looking forward to wearing anything that is not knit material, my wardrobe consists mainly of knit material and I am OVER it!

Ally, I know what you mean about the nice PJ thing.

I can wear a size 16 shirt but my bum is just huge, so I just look horrid in pj sets.

My goal is a pair of jeans I own.
That I bought, many years ago.

That I paid an astronomical amount of money for even though they didn't fit, cause I was in the changeroom and crying and I'd tried on about 30 pairs and none of them were big enough and I didn't want to admit to the salesgirl I couldn't even fit into this last pair.

The stupid things we do to ourselves.

I'd probably like to wear some really nice sporty and/or smart casual tops and pants.

I see so many nice stuff at Myer or Just Jeans, I've got good taste, I just look horrible in the clothes.
I cracked the 90kg mark for the first time in two years, I'm happy!!

 I would love to wear a pair of jeans and know that my bum does not look big in them.

 I would love to be able to wear a skirt just sitting on the knee line to work instead of pants and jackets.

 I would love to wear knee high boots.

 I would love to wear a pair of bathers and not have to cover up with one of my hubbies tee shirts!
2008 - my year to be great!!

A shirt with a vest or a jumper over the top. I just can't do that look, but every time I see it on someone else I think how great it looks. I am sure that I would feel (and most likely look) like the Michelan tyre man

I have a pair of size 9 jeans I'd love to wear again. I put them on last weekend and while I can (just) get them done up, they are extremely tight! I want to be able to wear them again with a pretty singlet top and not feel self conscious. It's my goal outfit. I'd also like to wear my knee high boots and have a little bit of room to spare in them
Just keep moving! And don't be lazy...

mine is similar to this!

i want to be able to walk into a shop and know that i will be able to find something that fits...not continually going back to the same 2 or 3 shops because i'm too embarrassed to try new shops in case they don't have anything that will fit me.

and to be able to choose something that i want to wear rather than just buying something because it fits.

I would love to wear a skirt or a dress especially in summer, I don't think I have worn either for about 10 years. :(

Has anyone noticed that there are less & less larger clothes being sold in KMart and Target now.
